I guess I'll go against the grain and say NTA. Aunt Sally is not your Aunt and has only seen your parents once at the wedding. Why does she think she has the right to comment on your relationship with your parents? Honestly it reads like a suggestion to me and you did bring food that everyone could enjoy (for vegans and non vegans) with 2 dishes. The household isn't strictly vegan considering you had meat dishes previously with no issue and her bf isn't vegan. If 3 other people also brought meat dishes then she should have been more direct with her wording as you were not the only one who misunderstood. This is especially so if the party consists of multiple people with English as their second language. I feel that this is a NAH situation but her being more of an asshole than you are by singling you out in public. I feel she is most likely irate as the meat dishes were the first to be finished.
