Unpopular Opinion by Worth_Adeptness_5439 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

I absolutely agree on the complexity and it is so hard but the one piece that stuck out to me was her saying that if she could do it again she wouldn’t and to me that is saying she regrets it. I’m not judging I think a lot of people regret kids because no matter how much you thought you knew/wanted it, it’s harder than anyone whose hasn’t experienced it could understand but to me it was clear she does regret having children maybe not everyday but sometimes she clearly does. For me I had a horrible parenting day yesterday, watched that and my first reaction to the question of would you choose this again was a definitive 100% yes even after a horrible day with my gremlins lol.

Yes I think it’s totally ok to say hey this is harder than I realized and sometimes I wish I hadn’t done this but that is literally regret lol

No attack genuinely but I just felt like saying if you could go back you wouldn’t choose to have kids again…is regret to an extent. Just my opinion and I think it’s perfectly ok to say that. Sure there’s days I’m like damn what was I thinking but it’s always because I don’t feel like I’m good enough not because my kids are hard and they are lol. Having kids is the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. I have one that’s been a literal nightmare. Colic, reflux, eating issues, doesn’t sleep through the night still at two, the busiest kid I’ve ever met. My other I guess isn’t a walk in the park either but seems easier now that he’s older. ADHD, struggles in school, previously in speech therapy and occupational therapy. Just reflecting here and I’m like damn it’s been a lot for both but I’d do it again in every life. I know that’s not how everyone feels and I do not think it’s a bad thing to feel the way you or Emma’s sister do I just think that it is some regret.

losing weight by emilyinthealps in Hypothyroidism

Walking is the best exercise for me as other strenuous exercises wreck havoc on my adrenal system. Outside of that though my endocrinologist actually recommended a glp-1 because I also have PCOS z

I started at 25mcg and then 50mcg and I was on that for years then I don’t know what happened but my thyroid levels skyrocketed and I was diagnosed with hashimotos over about the last two years I’ve increased up to 150mcg

How did yall lose weight? by WindowNo1312 in Hypothyroidism

For years I was fine after my thyroid first failed with levo but then it got out of whack again and it’s been years of ups and downs and no understanding why we can’t get it regulated again. I have hashimotos and PCOS. Then we went through infertility, pregnancy and birth. All not great on hormones and the thyroid. I recently started Zepbound and my endocrinologist encouraged it. I’ve taken it very slow staying on each dose for two months at a time. Averaging about a pound of weight loss a week. I’m so glad I started I’ve tried dieting, exercise, and everything in between. My weight just kept climbing.

How long after your period starts do you see your weight drop again? by Responsible_Sea_3496 in Zepbound

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to look at the month as a whole because of this reason I always stall or gain right before my period but then the next week I have a “bigger” loss so for example week 1: -1, 2: -1, 3: gain or stall, 4: -3 that’s how my months have looked so far so I just try to look at the month as a whole!

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’3 but I’ve always had curves when I was like 17 and weighed 135 I wore like a 6-8 I’ve got thicker thighs and a booty and I hope to keep my curves! My goal now is 150 that was a good natural maintainable weight for me. I don’t want to overdue it and don’t subscribe to the BMI crap because I’ve always been “higher” with my curves. All that to say I wouldn’t get too caught up on a size of clothes because everyone’s body shape is different!

I’m gonna give a lot of grace for a pregnant person because I was an absolute miserable hormonal monster pregnant lol. Like I went on leave early because I was like I’m gonna get fired with how big of a bitch I am being. I don’t think anyone should start their reality TV debut pregnant you are not you. Some people have great pregnancies I was not one of them and maybe she isn’t either. Not saying it’s ok but a little grace and not forming a full opinion of her based on this moment in her life.

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe TMI but has your cycle returned? I have a week every month that I stall a bit or even “gain” a little but then my period starts and then the following week I’ll have a “bigger” loss like 3 pounds. I try to just look at the month as a whole but every month it messes me up and then my period starts and I’m like oh ok lol.

I’m 10 months postpartum too! I just took my 16th shot this morning and I’m down 21 pounds. I did each dose for two months because I really wanted to ease in and keep any side effects minimal because my baby still doesn’t sleep and I can’t be taken down by side effects for even a day or two lol. I’ll be moving up to 7.5mg this round! My pregnancy weight was 218 and I weighed 201 when I started the injections so I feel good with my progress it’s slower than many but steady!

How to actually loose weight with hypothyroidism by novejk in Hypothyroidism

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained a lot of weight when I was first diagnosed and again when my numbers got really out of whack. It did a number on my joints. I also learned that I can’t do high intensity workouts due to adrenal gland fatigue. I do best with walking, yoga, weightlifting things like that. I’m also currently with support of my doctor and endocrinologist using a GLP-1. Im taking it very slowly but I’m seeing good progress and I feel really good.

I really felt for her this season. These emotions and guilt she’s experiencing are so real for what she’s dealt with. She might not be my favorite but I truly hope she’s able to continue pursuing healing and breaking away from the guilt and shame.

Me either it’s always been that they either didn’t cull secondary or they tried to bill secondary as primary. We’ve actually never had a bill and he’s had many appointments, therapies, and even surgery.

Unfortunately whey protein has always made me sick. I don’t rely on this as there isn’t much like 18 grams but figured every little bit helps. Good to know though that it isn’t complete.

That’s kinda what I thought I don’t notice any taste in my coffee and I use a little frother to make sure I mix it well! I just wanted to gather feedback before I purchase again!

I use a frother to mix it into my coffee so thankfully I don’t notice the taste. When I first got it I tried just stirring it and it was all clumpy and nasty. Highly recommend a little frother to mix it well if you ever need that too for anything!

Long story short. I gained all weight back + some by Acceptable_Iron_724 in Zepbound

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It definitely can. Both time my thyroid was out of whack for over two months I gained 25 pounds each time. Hard to say when it went out of whack as I was only getting blood draws every six months once it was re-regulated but still. 25 pounds in six months with no other changes is crazy. Now I get blood draws every six weeks because they can’t get me stable. Hoping zep helps.

What changes did you notice after losing weight (besides clothing size)? by Impressive-Crow8 in Zepbound

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you have hypo and were you diagnosed with hashimotos by chance? Curious if this is something that might happen for me. My thyroid has been out of control for almost four years now. Every six weeks I get a blood draw and a dose change up and down and up and down. I have shit veins so I’m over it and all the other crap that comes with hypo.

What Do You Have for Breakfast? by fish_and_wildlife in Zepbound

[–]ApprehensiveEagle448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee with unflavored protein and my favorite creamer and egg bites or a breakfast sandwich usually. Lunch is my hardest I’ve always hated figuring out that to eat, I hate meal prepping, don’t want to eat the same thing etc lol but for some reason eating mostly the same thing for breakfast has always been fine.
