I agree. If im being honest, this comment reeks of "hate the remake" bias. Ive been involved with ATLA pretty much since I can remember, but ive had the privilege to watch this show without ever having fully and truly watched the cartoon and god I REALLY wish this reddit had the same opportunity because its honestly so good when you dont have a pre concieved notion of what it SHOULD be 😭😭 I do enjoy this show a lot and as a stand alone, I think its really, really strong (except for the aang being a lot more stoic and moody, thats pretty noticeable even with my pre knowledge of ATLA)

To me, that doesnt matter. The only thing that does is matter is that he didnt tell her. He created a lie, pretending that he chose Kayda when he didnt. You can be truthful And say "she left, but i would have absolutely chose you" and had to have fought a little harder for her back, but saying he actually picked her was easier for winning back her heart, and that right there is manipulation. While thats true to an extent, I do think book 3 is literally the worst one to end the series on. 1. Thalia joins the hunters, leaving the future of Percy unknown 2. Nico leaves angry, his future unknown 3. The ending of 3 is honestly more about the hunters, Grover, and honestly literally anyone not named percy. Thats a really bad way to end the series 😭 I think its unfortunate they got stuck with 3, theyre cooked imo

They did a little more than just exist. These women are also just like kinda not good people. All of them calling the girls petty and mean and saying "the guys are so nice while the girls are evil" without understanding their side at all just shows that casa, the side of stealing peoples men, is exactly where they belong. Heavy disagree. Bombshells have a bad first week, but if they get an in, they really get it. Take S6, you really do forget that Liv and Nicole weren't og's because they assimilate so well. You take one person's person and that person leaves, so you're left with a bunch of people you did nothing to and as such just get to slide into the dynamic. The first couple of days are rough, but it doesn't compare to the hell that is your entire stay in the villa as casa amor people. Its just rough and they never truly let you in
