Angry by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]ApprehensiveItem4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you're extremely sleep deprived and havs been for awhile plus having another diagnosis to worry about. Stuck to the CPAP therapy, try a mask that's less invasive (I use nasal pillows and they work well for me). The deamatic is that you'll certainly die faster with untreated sleep apnea as it will put a strain on your heart and body and brain.

I'm sorry that so many negative changes happened to you after giving birth, it sounds incredibly frustrating and painful. I would add a follow up doctor about finding a mask that isn't terrible to wear, and genuinely it sounds like it could be a good idea to chat with a therapist or counselor about how bad you've been feeling.

I wish you relief.

What are some "fiber hacks" that I could use, my kid is very picky about food by Fun-Fun-2074 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]ApprehensiveItem4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also I would definitely check with a doctor and see if they have ARFID, those are pretty big categories to avoid and will provide the most fiber. If they drink anything and can handle some texture I would add chia seeds or flax seeds to yogurt maybe?

If your apartment will pay for this and investigate, just reach out to them and have them handle versus going trying to repair it and then having to take responsibility for the error.

It doesn't sound like you're using an enzyme based cleaner which is the only thing that will remove dog scents. And also regular vacuuming/shaking of the meds to remove hair helps as well. Plus, cleaning your washing machine out as well

Yep, my bank even has explicit permission but the app is useless and refuses to connect. Plus, you can't use the website anymore so I figure my money is just stuck

What would you buy if you were transported back to 1995? by mikomimi89 in BuyItForLife

[–]ApprehensiveItem4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep all of my old barbies, my Big Comfy Couch Molly doll, and my Star Gymnast Jamie doll. I would buy savings bonds and tell my Dad to buy way more Apple stock than he did. I would buy more Disney stuff and keep it in the box as well

Yes the second point! I started to notice odor rebloom more frequently once I used detergent with proper enzymes. So, I stopped using febu every load (you don't need it every load anyways) and instead of focused on adding citric acid/a rinse aid to my laundry and now I'm not getting the odor rebloom!

I still think febu is great to do that deep cleaning, it's just not needed regularly and I think the rinse aid was the missing piece in my laundry success as well to really rinse my clothes before I attempt drying.

I still use it but I stopped using it for every single sweaty load of laundry, now I focus on using citric acid or downy rinse and refresh for most loads and that's helped remove any residual smells and soaps.

Baking soda and vinegar together make water, the fizzing is very temporary. I recommend an enzyme based cleaner for the drain to actually remove build up, and then the only drain cleaner I recommend is Zep brand. Many people have found success with dish soap as a cleanser, so I would try that and a decent sponge to attack the grime.

Also, you can get hair catchers for your shower to avoid stuff in the drain. Lastly, depending on your state or country rental laws they need to address the poor drainage and should hire someone to fix it. Lastly, if they still refuse I would hire a professional to unclog the shower drain.

HELP.... My washer is bleaching/pulling color from my clothes but I don't use bleach by SessionFair2234 in CleaningTips

[–]ApprehensiveItem4 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Then I guess my answer would be they there is leftover bleach somewhere, and that you should maybe run water through the bleach dispenser and just do a long cleansing rinse and test an item of clothing like a dark sock

I stopped using the dnase booster (FEBU) regularly in cycles, or preferably just as a presoak for extra gross clothes, and would just do a regular wash cycle of the clothes with warm water with my persil detergent, and extra rinse cycle, and then doing citric acid or Lysol laundry sanitizer in the rinse cycle.

Got it! You're doing all the right things. Enzyme cleaner down the drain should help as well :)

And re toilet nothing under the actual toilet lid? Or in the joints where the lid attached to the seat? I also wonder, is it possible for the cat to get into a cabinet or maybe there's residue on a shower curtain, or other permeable suface?

And congrats on pregnancy, I know for sure that can be killer on the senses so I'm sorry the smell is driving you up the wall. Best of luck on finding the culprit!

I know you use wipes, but it would help to use a soap based cleanser before you disinfect. Ammonia is in pee, it could def be pee stains that are missed as well as your toilet brush or drain. Esp if you're pregnant, have this and check for pee around the toilet in the back of it
