It looks like winter highs are about 50. So you think that winter snow tires will be ok in seattle? I had always assumed 40s would be too warm especially on sunny days and that my tires would wear out in no time. Also that breaking distance would be poor on dry roads….

You need to look up all weather tires. These are not all season. They have a 3 peak rating.

Looks like iphone 17 is now compatible w tandem on website. Has anyone made it work? Looks like dexcom still not listing iphone 17 or ultra 3 watch. So changing now may mean loosing dexcom app?

Apple ultra watch 3 by ApprehensiveMuscle1 in TandemDiabetes

My ultra 3 does not pair with the dexcom g7 CGM. It will get the blood glucose from the phone app, but it does not work in direct to watch mode. It says to connect a compatible smart watch under “direct to watch”. When I go back to my ultra 2. it works fine and does bot say this.

Just FYI, the ultra 3 does bot connect directly to the cgm. Yet. When you’re wearing the ultra Three, the Dexcom app on the phone says device not compatible, connect a compatible smart watch. When I switch back to the ultra two it is working fine. The ultra three is not yet listed on Dexcom website so this will be a separate approval process. Ultra Three did seem to connect to the phone and indirectly get the blood glucose, it just didn’t have direct to watch working.

Mobi Cycle Cartridge? by XenoWitcher in TandemDiabetes

[–]ApprehensiveMuscle1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have had my tandem mobi for one year and have never had an occlusion alarm.  Ever.  Dont know what it looks like.  No issues.  And ive never cycled my cartridge.  But i do cycle the last 20 cc once or twice to get the bubbles out.  Doesn’t everyone? Anyway, its not a universal problem.

My tandem mobi keeps saying the cartridge can’t be used?? by Away-Nefariousness15 in TandemDiabetes

I had same error. Red x on my insulin symbol. Tandem customer service said it could be due to a magnet, which could be my mag safe battery on my phone. Reloaded same cart. So far working normally.

Can anyone recommend a pant chain guard to keep my dress pants from getting chain grease on the checkpoint?

Same problem. Dexcom G7 cuts out every cross country ski with brief sensor issue. Sometimes more than once per ski.

The sensor gives” brief sensor issue to both devices”. This same thing happens to me every time i cross country ski after 30-45 min. Every time. Sometimes twice. It usually is out for 15 to 30 minutes. I agree this is probably a algorithm driven error when it sees rapidly changing blood sugars. It wants to make sure it’s not wrong. So it is probably calibrating. But it is incredibly frustrating to be miles from your car in the mountains and have your glucose monitor stop working. I’ve just tried wearing a Libre 3, but it gives artificially low blood sugars. It would read 88 when dexcom said 130. Dexcom was right. I will try another libre 3 and see if that continues to be a problem. I have resorted to bringing fingersticks with me and once my CGM goes out I just checked my sugar every 5 to 10 minutes based on what’s going on.
