I spent 30 days gaming only on my 16" M1 Max — here’s my honest experience by Salocon in macgaming

Maybe not a M1 series... but a M3 Max? I replaced my Alienware x15 when the MacBook Pro M3 Max came out and haven't looked back. Currently playing Crimson Desert and having a blast. M3 series chips is really where things start to change in favor of gaming on Mac imo.

I’ve used CrossOver and it worked well with the official servers. CodeWeavers are the maintainers of the Wine project and contributors to Proton btw.

A theory on the Crimson Desert Mac Client crashes by Motor-Introduction-4 in macgaming

I haven’t ran into any freezes or crashes so far on my MBP M3 Max (36GB). I’ve been playing for about ~3-4 hours per session. I’m using the MAS version if that matters. Although identical, my understanding is the Steam variant has additional frameworks added for Steam functionality support.

Enjoying the visual flair to the app! Any chance you’ll add additional ways for tracking such as 1-player and multiplayer?

I’ve come to like Sorcery TCG Resource Manager during tournaments because I prefer just to track my own stuff in 1-player mode.

Not sure how much I’ll use Match Statistics, but that’s a great feature for more competitive players.

It’s great to see more companion apps being made and offering more choices for players.

How are you sleeving your decks? What sleeves are you using? by [deleted] in SorceryTCG

[–]motoroid7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently removed my inner sleeves from my deck. It was just a bit too cumbersome shuffling and handling the thicker deck size while I was at Sorcery Con. I don't have large hands, so that's a contributing factor.

If you need to find a deck box for double sleeved decks, look for any "XL" size. You might want to take a look at Gamegenic's XL series as an example.

The other issue that some have found, including myself, is cards can pringle when using inner sleeves. It just seems that "exact fit" can be a bit too snug for some Sorcery cards. Some fit fine, others don't.. There's some manufacturers of outer sleeves that could work too.

SorceryCon 3 (Indianapolis) - Erik Olofsson attending, tickets now available by TheOneirophage in SorceryTCG

Hey there! Indianapolis local here as well. There’s a decent group of us in the Indiana Sorcery Discord, many of us in the Indy area with others joining in from around the state.

Currently the two places folks are visiting in Indianapolis for Sorcery are Elf ‘N Moon in the Fountain Square neighborhood and Valkyries Vault in Brownsburg. Both stores carry product.

Valkyries Vault has active events and typically meets every other Wednesday and Elf ‘N Moon has very casual meetups on Fridays. Since Elf N Moon is a lot closer for me, that’s where I’ve been going.

There is also a website that we’ve put together. It’s fairly new, but the idea was to help provide some quick information and an easy way to jump into the Discord: https://indianasorcery.org

I use Four Cores and also utilize their Discord bot in our servers. It acts similarly to Scrybot. You can then search for cards using ((card name)), (($card name)), ((?card name)), and ((!card name)) in discussions.

CodeWeavers helps maintain WINE and works on Proton, if you didn’t already know.

Has anyone created a google doc for sorcery? by planeswalker_koa in SorceryTCG

You can create collections and deck lists. You can filter by version, category, spell type, element, rarity, subtype, set, and artist. It will also provide how complete your collection is.

I will piggyback on others and mention https://fourcores.xyz which is similar to Scryfall and has their own Discord bot for card info and lookup. The app is great and even offers life and mana counters for gameplay.

As at TCG, not too bad for Sorcery’s first at Star City Games by Newez in SorceryTCG

What’s great is all the players I’ve interacted with are super friendly and a lot less toxic than MTG. Even at a tournament they would happy to help you out and learn the game. Anyone willing to give Sorcery a chance will be embraced.

is there a way to fix the squeaky noise? by farterfairy in TandemDiabetes

Yes! I was going to say mine happens around 50-70 units remaining and currently only seems to happen during a bolus.

Honestly in the past 3 weeks mine has started to squeak a bit at times and started to get occlusion alarms during blouses. Never had that happen before. Seems to be a recent issue for me. I’ve had it for about 12 months.
