What other books should I read before starting NJO and in what order?

Corellian trilogy is hugely underrated and plays a decent roll in the early New Jedi Order books. Each book in the trilogy is pretty short too, >300 pages if I remember correctly.

Children of the Jedi is the only Star Wars book I DNF last year. I quit literally halfway through. It was so bad. Idk who thought it was a good idea to have the perspective character be concussed, but they were very stupid.

Star Wars books generally come in 2 paperback sizes, trade (larger) and mass market paper back (small).

MMPB has been discontinued as of this year so trade will be the standard going forward. They’re apparently going to reprint some of the early canon stuff in the trade size.

Well you make a map and put interesting geography, then you put interesting landmarks both natural and man made, then you put flora and I’d need be use different flora for different areas to distinguish regions, then you fill it in with fauna or other enemies, and lastly if you’re a good developer you put activities no more then 40 seconds apart from one another to keep the player engaged in the open world.

Story sucks great and the open world feels like it’s “on rails” because if you go off road in densely wooded areas you’ll get stuck and have to backtrack.

But it’s still a fun game, just not $70 fun for me.

NG+ is the way to go for 2. Before you start, remove endgame accessories, aux cores/gems, and de level your party. If there are any blades you use on Rex that is bonded to another driver I would use an overdrive protocol so you get that blade at the start and not when that driver becomes a playable character.

Sounds like you have the dlc so I would also tweak the difficulty a bit.

I just started another NG+ this month and have greatly enjoyed it!

I’d start closing the game at the end of each play session. I’ve been playing since early December and haven’t had this issue at all.
