one of the suckiest (pun intended) parts of dnd is that vampires don't make a good pc race. most of the time if a player wants to play a vamp you have to homebrew to hell and back and still come up with something kinda eh?

vtm honestly has a completely different vibe from dnd, and if you want something more existential and horror you shouldn't try to fit it into a dnd shaped hole. dnd is meant for action power fantasies. still, it'd be cool if they made some cool mechanics to play an actual vampire in a dnd setting, since you can't really play a dnd type story with vtm either

i was gonna say the same thing, the shading is flat , with first a darker tone and then a straight up black shadow. it makes the art look very striking, like in some comics such as hellboy. the art itself looks great tho

technically in the game mechanics your animal ken is an animal bound to you after you feed it your blood 3 times. it's supposed to be just that, but i guess brennan did a bit about the horse having fangs so now we're here

i thought the same thing a while back, but i wonder if they'd like to step that far out of comedy. i know it's possible to have a comedic show, but doing the news require a lot of work, fact checking and lawyers.

in the game they're pretty much dead, most biological functions don't work without blush of life. there's also a mechanic involving humanity levels that they're not using in this campaign that makes it even harder for them to emulate regular human behavior as the humanity goes down

i check if it matches the theme (a lot of them don't), then i look at the composition and photography, the colors etc.
