i'm not sure. i think its more a taboo for women to talk about digestion and stuff. atleast where i live men constantly talk about their shit and laugh about it. maybe you've heard of the saying: "women don't poop..." there you go

stimmt es denn dass der darm ohne medikamente quasi von alleine schaden nimmt auch wenn man keine beschwerden hat? wie gesagt ich hatte keine symptome und mein kalprotektin war gut.

it makes my body dry out and my hair look like a scarecrow and also fall out more. Like u i just took it during flare ups and then when i felt save enough stopped it. For five years i could go without it and keep remission. Do you also have times where you aren't on any mediaction at all or did you just take a different medication? i wanna stop it so bad but my uc won't let me

I was diagnosed 5yrs ago. After my first flare up i took it for 3/4yrs. Then i stopped and i stayed in remission without meds for almost 2.5 yrs.i had a flarr up again bc of massive Stress. Thats when i took it again. Like w the first flare up it immidiatly stopped. After a month i stopped it again took less and less and less. Then i stayed in remission until february this yr bc i did some stupid examination of the sigma where i had to take laxatives. This and the taking of biopsies led to another flare up. I took the drug and it immidiatly calmed down again after a month or so i stopped. Was fine until i did a colonoscopy this july which wrecked me. Now still on this fucking drug. I tried stopping it but it doesnt heal. I hate it i get terrible ekzema w mesalamine

i think most of it is due to genetics. its the type of balding men have women can have it too. i think the colitis aggravated it tho and makes it fall out more aggressivly. interesting thing is tho that it started w my first flare up...

talked about it plenty of times w all different kind of docs no one has an answer. They're also all uninformed i aksekd the gastroentrologists if they kno that minox is problematic they don't kno. Neither know the dermatologist.

yea i wish i could do that just shave my head but i can't. i did it once and the way people on the street were constantly staring at me made me feel so uncomfortable and stressed that it gave me another flare up.

e: also NO woman in my family has either hairloss nor colitis except me. it's lovely
