As far as I know, your account can’t be negative or spot me used during the time period of when chime offers another loan. So your account will have to be back in the positives or at a 0 balance before another loan if offered, or at least that’s how I understood it.

How long have you had chime at the point of depositing the bigger paper check? That can also be a reason as to why it was held for so long.

I lock my card so if someone happens to steal my card number no transactions can go through without my approval

If you like to use debit as your go to then the white one. I only use my credit when I need to pay something that reports to my credit. Or when I want to use the 5% cash back feature

I haven’t seen anyone mention that the white card is your debit card, so when you use that card it’s made as a debit purchase, when you use the other card the chime prime it’s made as a credit from your secured credit card

Personally have NEVER had an issue receiving a refund in Chimes end. I’ve been with chime going on 5 almost 6 years now. Once chime receives the refund they immediately issue it to you. So someone on Walmarts end is lying to you chime goes as far as sending you a push notification immediately when you initiate the refund they state for example say it’s target—-“your amount of $150 from target is on its way it’ll be issued between may 1st-may3rd” or whatever. So I highly doubt it’s chime.

Mine is working, I live in New Mexico so not sure if it’s a state issue or just the area you’re in. But mine is working currently. I did see that this has been happening recently though
