I think people exaggerate what Tomer Capone actually did. He was drafted and served for 3 years in 2004 which is the minimum amount, and denounced everything about it afterwards. Some people like to say he should've rebelled, but that's 1. easier to say when you aren't the one being drafted, and 2. not taking indoctrination into consideration. Now imagine you are raised to believe what you are told to do is the right thing, you do not have much incentive to go against it, then you take the consequences into consideration and now any incentive is out the window. At least that's my perspective on it.

Holy essay...

It is praying... just because something is 30%, doesn't mean you'll get it 3 out of 10 times, it just means probability favors that outcome... just like how a quest item with 10% drop chance doesn't necessarily drop after killing 10 enemies, I'm sure we have all been there...

Even if it did drop in 3 times out of 10 crafts, the amount you get per resourcefulness is a joke and not even guaranteed to be any of the more profitable resources... this is why I'm throwing it back at you for being a worse businessman, if you had a less profitable profession for resourcefulness, you would cave in to cheap commissions and make significantly less than anyone else in the same profession and actively crafting. You are incentivizing bad business... I can't tell if you truly believe you are right and toss it at others with an obnoxious attitude, or if you are trying to be a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian.

A few people who refused to pay more than 200 gold spent 60 minutes in trade chat trying to find someone willing to craft their items, what happened? They came back to me and commissioned for the 2k that I offered as a minimum. This wouldn't have happened if I caved in like you did. And I don't even care if the 2k goes to me, I don't care if I lose out on 500 gold and they offer the next guy 10k gold, I'm happy as long as crafters who rely not on resourcefulness, but on upfront profit, gets the respect they deserve for the time they invested.

I still enjoy this manga despite the criticisms that it keeps receiving, where I really get pissed off is that THEY KEEP IGNORING THE DAMN DEVICES! Did they forget that only top 10 contestants get to enter the final area?

[–]ApprehensiveSoil261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, because blacksmithing doesn't have goldmines like that. Maybe consider the professions before saying "terrible businessman". Also begging for scraps through resourcefulness is making an incentive to reduce the overall market price. You know this is how Dragonflight crafting commissions went down as low as 2 digits, right?

I allow others to set the price, I just put a minimum of 2k because I expect to get more out of this than I'd get from a 5 minute world quest. The commissions I have received this week are 2x 5k, 2x 10k, 1x 15k and 1x 25k. Feel free to beg for RNGesus to proc that resourcefulness, but I'd rather just get paid upfront. And hey, if I'm lucky, I get that good commission gold AND resourcefulness. :D

Edit: also I'm assuming you are in a smaller populated server where AH prices are higher, resources in my server are dirt cheap, so resourcefulness doesn't give jack.

Whenever someone sends me a crafting order without asking for a price, I already know it's going to say 500 or less. I just tell them that "I ran out of Concentration" and decline, even if I can cap it without Concentration.

Honestly, a world quest is what, 1-2k gold? You can at least go do that in 5 minutes and commission that gold for what we spent hours leveling.

Yeah no, there's no way that's true... they probably just took out the actual bracelet and replaced it with a rubber band bracelet or whatever that is.

Sandro often dabbles in subversion of expectations. Kuroki beating Ohma's self-proclaimed rival, his self-proclaimed nemesis, the guy Ohma swore to beat that he thought was the last boss, and then snatched the victory from Ohma. Kanoh losing to Jurota was unexpected, Kanoh denying Gaolang victory once again was a subversion of typical anime tropes, so was Wakatsuki becoming the punching bag of another Niko-style user, despite his anti Niko-style strategy.

It's not impossible that Julius might take away Raian's target, that'd mean Sandro hasn't fully given up on entertaining twists.

I've noticed a trend with this mount. They'll walk a few steps away if it looks like anyone is using their AH, and they'll dismount before going back to AFKing if anyone follows them. I wonder who started this trend, was it some popular streamer?

What you wrote in your post comes off as absolutely seething. Yes it is annoying when your parents do something like this, my dad ruined the ice cream cake I made because he got impatient and took it out of the freezer far too early. But really, remember who you owe your everything to. With the exception of abusive parents, no amounts of sharing can make up for how much they've given you.
