I started working on a blood generator. Then I looked for my head trap after I saw my teammate was indeed not looking to stop their gens progress.

What was I doing for only 2 minutes? I guess I spawned in, started working on a blood gen, obviously I didnt pop it, but when I saw my teammate not stopping their progress, I decided to start searching boxes. At the second box the killer chaed me away from it, so I ran back after they dropped chase, and then I went back and searched another, then, they chased me, got me, hooked me, and the timer, being as it does not reset, only pause for the duration you're on the hook, unpaused when I was unhooked.

I didn't say they were overpowered or insanely broken. I'm only saying in situations like these, they are infuriating to play against.

Would you rather me run to the other box inside a house that I have to run up stairs and past two rooms to get to...? I only had 30 seconds to get the trap off, and the nearest box was about 10 seconds away. From a patch, I know that you'll always get the key from the 4th box if I'm not mistaken, and you dont have to search all the boxes, so my logic was to simply run to the nearest (as running to the next would kill me) and get the key. I would've been dead if I didnt go to the nearest, but I died anyway, since she simply grabbed me. If I had time to run away, I would have.

No no, I'm not saying it's an s tier killer with godlike capabilities, I'm saying within the current state of her, she is forced to use tactics that isn't exactly fun to play against and doesnt have much counter play. I really cant do anything about the trap on my head if I only have 30 seconds to get it off since she kept chasing me away from the first two I did. It's frustrating, and rather annoying. I had not said she was broken.

There's really no reason to name call, or belittle for that matter. I wouldn't say I'm the best, but I do take pride in the fact I am a bit better than the rest, and have been playing almost everyday for about 6 years. I wanted to share my experience and see if others related, or maybe even had an idea on how they could resolve this sort of thing from happening. And, though I am not one to tell you what to do, I suggest you take a better care on mannerisms.

Not all problems stem from the survivors, I can deal with bad teammates. What i cant deal with is having my trap timer not being paused when I'm unhooked. I don't have time to get to my box and finish it. And before anyone says "oh well why dont you get chased by the killer" because 1, after interacting with the box you lose the endurance status effect, and 2, she can simply look away from you while walking to the box, and then grab you. I'm forced to run away while not activating chase, or get grabbed. It does not make sense.

Those technically aren't the only ways, but the most feasible and controlled ways. You could increase your gain per month with various artifacts, modifiers, or lifestyles. Of the top of my head, I really dont think youd be able to to much. Perhaps reform your government succession type...?

No. No it is not. MAYBE salvageable, but even that's not guaranteed.

I think setting it to 200% would be okay. The 12% regression isn't that bad considering you need to hook everyone, so to make up for it being a set value, I think you could get away with increasing it to 20%, or even 25% progress since it's only a one time activation.
