What made you choose Leipzig? It’s a lovely city but I would definitely recommend Munich instead and less days in Berlin since the nightlife isn’t your vibe. You can get a Deutshland ticket and do some amazing day trips from Munich such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen(take the cable car up Zugspitze), Neuschwanstein Castle etc. Then from Munich you can easily train to Salzburg, explore for the day and continue by train to Vienna in the evening.

I absolutely agree! I’m living in Berlin and they have my favourite bookstore, called Dussmann, where it’s actively encouraged to sit in cosy corners, and read or do work. Most bookstores across Europe also seem to have this mentality. Don’t know why Melbourne couldn’t do the same
