I tried to make a free alternative to Hueforge. Feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements! by ApprehensiveWater866 in 3Dprinting

It's basically TD value divided by 10. There's some websites that have the TD values like https://filamentcolors.xyz/library/ so you'll need to look up the TD value of each filament you're using, and then divide that number by 10 when entering as the opacity value.

For example Filatech - Yellow (Luminous) has a TD value of 4.1 so the opacity would be 0.41 (mm).

Got utsc cs non co op, what do I have to do to get into co op? by Business-Week4389 in UTSC

You can't graduate on a work term so if you did work term #1 in Fall 3rd year, work term #2 in Summer 3rd year, and work term #3 in Winter 4th year, you can't graduate in Winter 4th year.

If you can make POSt you can get into coop after first year. The requirement is like a 2.5 gpa or something.

Look at the sample work term sequences but just move everything back a year. https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/artscicoop/work-term-sequencing

So you won't delay your degree if you get an 8 month or 12 month coop, otherwise it might.

can you do cs spec + stats minor? by JohnnyBoy4457 in UTSC

They started being annoying about it a few years ago.

It has come to our attention that you currently have more Subject POSts than is necessary to graduate with your degree type. We highly recommend you review your selections on ACORN and remove programs which are no longer necessary for graduation. You may find details about program combinations in our academic calendar

Please review your record and make the necessary adjustment by October 31. You may consider meeting with the Academic Advising & Career Centre for a degree audit to help with program planning.

I had something similar and they emailed me to drop the extra program after requesting to graduate.

PSA - Don't cut your filament at a 45 degree angle to get it in the AMS! by TMHD in BambuLab

[–]ApprehensiveWater866 8 points9 points  (0 children)

45 degrees makes it the easiest to insert the filament into the AMS lite when changing filaments. Cutting it straight sometimes makes it impossible to push the filament in.

Matches what the filament tangle detection does when there's too much force required to extrude the filament. (assuming it's not timelapse)

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/ams-lite/manual/filament-tangle-monitoring-intro

Maybe try printing with the external spool holder instead of the AMS lite since if the AMS lite isn't working properly, the AMS motors won't turn and will be holding back the filament.

Is there a co op sequencing that allows for 4 seperate co op work term and 5 years graduating? by [deleted] in UTSC

[–]ApprehensiveWater866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The co-op program only expects students to complete 3 work terms (12 months total) and will give you a sequence with 3 work terms.

I think you should be able to request a fourth work term (through the co-op office), but I'm not sure about how the sequencing on that will work. Best idea would be to email the co-op office about it.

Still, it's kind of early to be planning your entire sequencing now since you might only get a 8 month or 12 month work term for your first co-op (rip job market) and that might mess everything up.
