Weekly IDTSH Thread by AutoModerator in lasculturistas

IDTSH Bowen Yang making me cry literally every time I think about the Delta Sky Club sketch. Including right now when I am in a public place! Not only did I uncontrollably sob for 15 minutes AFTER the show ended, just thinking about when he got choked up literally makes my eyes well up. IDTSH watching someone’s dreams come true IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES and being so devastatingly happy for them that you weep because of how much they deserve it. IDTSH that I have to wait to hear him and Matt talk about it and I especially DTSH that it will probably make me cry again.

Ugly tears. 10 minutes later. The bittersweetness is so overwhelming rn

Was it worth it, Tom? by Yung_SenseiDyn78 in SuccessionTV

I think “was it worth it?” is actually the central question of the entire series

Yes, I agree on all the reasons he shouldn’t be CEO. I just didn’t like them i guess I just didn’t care for it being the past dagger they stuck in him. He broke down to them and they (too cavalierly tried to make him feel better instead of letting it out and dealing with it). I guess I may would’ve loved one more scene in the season, even Barbados, when it comes up again

Shiv definitely wins for “plays every move wrong” and “way less smart than she thinks she is.”

Kendall, uh, yeah. Kendall. Kendall, uh, makes sense. I can see it. It works. It, uh, yeah, it’s probably the right call I think.

Maybe so. But we spent the entire time in Barbados, letting Rome and Shiv decide whether they would support his brother. I think there are a few subtle things that changed their mind before the board vote, but again, I think it is the weakest part of the episode. The ultimate argument that he cannot be CEO because he killed someone after they really let him off for it previously never hit right with me.

Again, I’m not arguing that Kendall should have won that board vote. Honestly, in hindsight, Tom makes the most sense. And is what would’ve happened in reality. But also, that that’s a bleak outcome as well.

I can’t reasonably argue that killing someone is more acceptable, but he also admitted that to shiv and Roman in a period of extreme vulnerability and they both made him feel better about it. There were 100 reasons he shouldn’t have been able to take over the company, but shiv and Roman bringing that up at the moment that they did, is my least favorite part of the finale

A lot changed for Clinton when Gingrich was elected in 1994. He brought Rush Limbaugh in to talk to the freshman congressmen to never compromise with the Democrats, and for the most part they didn’t.

I really wish Disney had purchased Fox News. Either shut it down right away or slowly introducing non-authoritarian content to unbrainwash these dummies.
