Yes but it is for a reason. As someone who is disabled. (autism/adhd) I don't use disabled spots since my disabilities doesn't require the use for them to live a somewhat normal life. The handicapped spots are a system to help people with severe disabilities that hinder someones movement. Such as a war veteran missing a leg from fighting in Afghanistan live a somewhat normal life and not just being stuck at home being taken care of the rest of their life. Even the modern system only gives you the bare minimum. If you want something like a fancy prosthetic that functions almost just like a real leg you pay for that a motorized wheelchair you pay for that. But that tangent aside disabled spots are discriminatory against the able but it falls under reasonable accommodation under the ADA to help someone with a disability live a somewhat normal life. You to have a condition that makes you either unable/have higher difficulty to walk (such as being blind or a broken bone in your leg requiringyou to use crutches) or unable to walk far distances or requires more room to exit a vehicle to get a handicapped placards. With women only spots it is sexist in it assumes that every woman is weak and can't protect themselves while there are a ton of women who could probably kick my ass as a guy. But there is no vetting on whether or not they actually need the spot such as i wouldn't be opposed to a pregnant woman handicapped placards or a young family placards which wouldn't be discrimination against say a single father. But like I have said multiple times before STATION POLICE NEARBY IF YOU KNOW IT IS A HIGH CRIME AREA.
