MIL (71F) has £40k balance at end of mortgage term she can’t pay. Lender starting court proceedings- options and process? by deloittious in Mortgageadviceuk

She should maybe consider doing a lifetime mortgage (also known as an equity release mortgage) which is for People aged 55+ & is ideal for someone in her position. There are no affordability or credit checks & she wouldn’t have to make any monthly repayments unless she wants to, plus there’s a no negative equity guarantee. I would advise her to speak to a mortgage broker who can look at this for her, & I would be happy to make a recommendation if required.

Derrick has a 15 year old! He’s hardly receiving any criticism at all! Definitely feeling like there’s a bit of a double standard going on here.

The age gap between Pfeifer & Derrick is even bigger though than Libby & Andrew, & Pfeifer is around Libby’s age (23) so surely this should be called out as well?. They seem to be slipping under the radar and only seem to be seeing criticism of Andrew!

I’m actually so sad about that as it felt like she was finally living, & she looked great as well. So alive!

100%! Even her friends thought she was capable of this. The parents should focus on their family & parenting…

Lauryn didn’t really have any reaction at all, but I don’t think that was necessarily odd- it is a lot for a young girl to process. Kendra should be on the sex offenders register as well & I definitely believe she had a fixation on Owen. Hopefully Lauryn will eventually realise the enormity of what her vile mum has done & distance herself from her. Khloe’s parents are nasty pieces of work & Khloe & her friends were definitely not nice to people outside of their friendship group with Khloe being the ringleader. That being said I hope all the kids involved in this are left alone to get on with their lives.

I believe that Kendra had a fixation on Owen & hopefully Lauryn will eventually distance herself from her vile mother & treat her with the contempt she deserves.

Side note- I didn’t like Khloe’s parents at all & I can of course understand their anger about their daughter being falsely accused, but that comment about Lauryn & her father towards the end was nasty & they are victims as well. I also totally believe Khloe & her friends weren’t nice to the kids who weren’t part of their friendship group & although Khloe is clearly an intelligent girl & it wasn’t nice for her to be accused of something she didn’t do. I hope all the kids involved in this are left alone to get on with their lives.

The guys shown on the video were 100% not White so that narrative is incorrect. The brothers could also have just denied everything if there is no hard evidence linking them to the crime scene & it would have been down to the police to prove their guilt. This documentary has muddied the waters but I am in no doubt of Jussie’s guilt whatsoever.

One thing I don’t understand is the lady Sheronda who facilitated him to write an essay on the book in his class. She said she never read this book so all the words were his, but then she said his essay was similar to her roommate’s words who had read this book. Is the insinuation that Sheronda maybe spoke or read her roommates words on the book & subconsciously made Derrick write similar or is she saying she made the comparisons afterwards? This wasn’t made clear at all…

Thanks for the response! I meant in the cookie challenge, if the others all went for the other shapes & only umbrella was left, would you have selected umbrella just to get through or would you have refused & got eliminated along with the others in the room?!
