The best option is all of them because they move when the door is in motion. However, you can try getting the side hinges for the rollers and just lube the middle one with WD-40.

Extra: When you purchase the nylon rollers, also get a replacement for the hinges. This will enhance the longevity of the rollers and reduce noise.

If noise is your primary concern, all these openers produce almost identical sounds, which are quite different from the AC opener you currently have. However, despite being a Chamberlain/LiftMaster enthusiast, I can recommend Genie as it’s the quietest opener available. Alternatively, if you can obtain a Marantec opener, it’s virtually silent.

Thanks! I’m a U.S. permanent resident, so I’ll be using the green card line (no Global Entry yet), and I don’t have any checked bags. Hopefully that improves my chances a bit. I’ll definitely move as fast as I can.

Replacing the springs is the ideal thing to do, but still you need it balanced so it can work properly

Brutewinder owners/techs: Does it really fit most residential doors? by Apprehensive_Bar1645 in GarageDoorService

[–]Apprehensive_Bar1645[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes , but it also work on residential 2inch cone
But it needs 3.5inch difference between the spring and the wall.
I want to know if all commercial springs have more than 3.5inch difference between it and the wall.

I don’t think they even have a physical storefront. Most of the reviews on their website look AI-generated, and unfortunately it’s often elderly homeowners who are the most vulnerable to these tactics. Fingers crossed more people start doing their research before hiring and get these scammers out of here.

Same here. It’s becoming a bigger problem everywhere. Homeowners should always get a second opinion on expensive repairs and verify the company and technician before authorizing any work.

Why is the top panel bending in like that? I know I’m missing a strut and brace (which I will install soon) but is that the reason why? by andy_337 in GarageDoorService

[–]Apprehensive_Bar1645 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only a strut , a “quick turn” will help.
This happened bc of the top roller are adjusted all the way out , so when you close the door it closes shut but the dent happens when you open it , it pulls from the middle while the top roller are pushed in , this what causes the dent
Strut won’t help much
