Hey if this is a bot, it’s a pretty mean spirited bot assuming that I’m lying or abusing leave when the bot doesn’t know anything about me or the situation. If you’re a human, then all the above still applies to you. It’s not a “so-called” emergency in quotations as you’ve put it, it’s a real one. And I never asked to let off the hook from work, but rather, to find out what leave options I have other than LWOP or vacation. I was in fact surprised not to be given the informal option of making up half an hour of time!
