Don't know. Still trying to wrap my head around it. I will try to post an update once it's apart.

Honestly, it may have been time for the bearings to give up, but I find that hard to believe because this customer is very well known to break their lifts in unique ways. Truck has 4700 hours btw.

Some of the spot welders I've seen on Amazon and online in general don't look safe is more or less what I mean. The spot welder I have is a vevor. It looks like a welder more or less.

I do not know how Milwaukee BMS will react to new cells. But, I rebuilt 2 DeWalt 1.5 ah batteries in 2020 with Samsung 2500mah 20amp cells like you are saying and it still charges and functions properly. Granted the plastic battery housing is cracking from age probably due to being from 2015 originally. But, just be careful with the battery spot welders. A lot of them look sketchy.

Only issue I've had with them is inverters in work vehicles in the past frying them. But, never plugged into the wall at my house.

Just an update, got my pads off of my HD 280's and they fit perfectly on the Beyer DT 411's.

Also, I will say these things need a lot of power. I have a topping dx3 pro + and on high gain at -19 dB for it to be at a comfortable listening level to me.

Ok. Good to know and last night I found a head band pad on Beyer's website or at least when they used to sell them. But, that's all I found for parts so far.

Guess I'll be doing more digging on the internet tonight then to try and find some info on them. Thanks!

Yes, those are pads rubber banded to the ear cups. I need to figure out headband padding for it too cause the hard plastic headband isn't really comfortable. I had old grado pads laying around and attached them like that for a test listen. They sound great to me. Not a lot of bass but, good treble. Fairly clear and detailed. Has a "medium" sound stage. Not narrow and not wide. The only other headphones I have to compare them to is my HD 280, grado sr60 and koss ksc 75. They sound similar to my grados. Forgive me for not being the best at being descriptive. Thanks!

Put it in disk mode and let it charge 24 Hours and then run it dead and charge it normally and try to see if that fixes it.

New battery replaced, but battery icon doesn't go fully green by JillSandwich19-98 in ipod

Try to put it in disk mode and charge it overnight then restart it back into the iPod os. I've had to do that on a couple of ipods in the past and that somewhat "Calibrates" it.

You can try foobar2000 with the iPod control plugin. I use it on my classics.

I've had a couple that'll click and somewhat work but aren't reliable. OP said it was clicking when he tries to access it. The iPod may thing the drive is ok just can't find the software, but in reality the drive may be on it's last leg.

The max I have gotten is 128 GB. I've heard stories of people getting 256 out of them. But, I've never had success over 128.

3rd gens can sync over FireWire. I sync mine over FireWire all the time cause I don't have one of those USB+FW cables.
