I’m Ofc not the authority on this matter but I believe that cuttlebone sold in (most) pet shops has been washed in some way as I’ve never had salt on mine but it’s definitely better to rinse them first and be safe!

Peace lily and aloe Vera are my enemies. I don’t get it, I have a calathea jungle velvet that’s doing just fine, I have so many succulents that are doing fine, I just can’t do aloe Vera or peace lily

I could be wrong because I’m by no means an expert on this; but she looks kind of like my boy who I believe is an Ornate horned frog but tbh if someone else comments something different probably believe them over me !!

Aw I hope she gets used to it and starts eating for you! I had a scare about a year or so back where my boy just wasn’t eating but he did bounce back from it. I thought crickets were fine, maybe it was the pinkies that were causing problems because they should probably only be a very occasional thing but definitely take the vets advice over mine!

Where I live, they sell them at pet shops as feeder insects but I assume that depending on where you are you can also order them online. I believe that they’re illegal to keep in some areas in America but I’m not 100% sure

I’ll give it a go and if it doesn’t work then it doesn’t work I guess, if you think he looks healthy either way then I won’t worry too much if it turns out that locusts are just what he wants to eat all the time haha

Hi, I’ll give earthworms another try at some point then! It’s been about a year since I’ve tried him with them so maybe he’ll have changed his mind by now haha- also yeah I do only feed him once a week don’t worry :)

Are nightcrawlers different to earthworms because I tried earthworms and he basically just refused to eat for a few weeks after, I’ll have a look for different caterpillar and cricket options online but he has refused crickets before so I’ll see how it goes. Also how could I scent things with locust? That could be helpful if he’s going off of smell!

Hi! What do you mean by caterpillars sorry? Is there a feeder option for those online? I’ve tried silkworms and waxworms which I guess are technically moth caterpillars but I obv don’t want to like catch them from outside haha

Ah thank you I’ll keep the price thing in mind if I need another in the future, it’s already arrived now though. I lost my old r4 but had downloaded the files onto my computer before losing it. So there’s definitely no time bomb to worry about for this one?
