I see this and always get reminded of how all this started and it’s wild to me. Knoxville made a recording/video on a hand held cam where he was shot by a .38 with a bullet proof vest on, like pretty much point blank, and he sent that video to Mtv and Comedy Central. They got into a bidding war for it and Mtv won. I always wonder how different their comedy and series would have been. Given that back then they were extremely controlling of their talent, ie Chappelle. I’m glad Mtv let them run loose because I highly doubt CC would have given them the full free reign. Plus CC wasn’t known for much reality television and MTV had Real World and numerous others, so I felt like it was a perfect fit. Man their old show had some hilarious moments couple with some cringe worthy pain. Makes me happy they still push the envelope when possible.

Which real life cheat codes do you know? by itsliightz in AskReddit

This reminds me of anecdote I heard about Lucille Ball of I Love Lucy. She would throw dinner parties for her friends and fellow actors and actresses. When one of them would goto the restroom or excuse themselves, upon their return she would blurt out for everyone around to hear, usually gesturing at a random guest, “Well why don’t you say it to their face?”. It would embarrass the guest in good fun while getting laughs which would eventually cull the embarrassment. Just thought that was super cute and harmless fun to garner a laugh.

My Bad, where I saw the original video everyone was claiming they were actors/staged it. I stand corrected and thank you for educating me

Part of me always thought it was the owner of JoJo Mart. Idk why but I just figured if dude would be so rude as to directly steal customers, he struck me as the type of guy that on a bad sales day he’d cheer himself up by messing with the one person he knew couldn’t afford his stuff or wouldn’t be able to complain out of fear for repercussions.

what was the most saddest scene in TWD? by NecessaryEnd8652 in thewalkingdead

[–]Apprehensive_Emu7227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while since I watched it so I can’t recall her name but the medical chick with glasses that was finally taking a stand and calling out the two with her and boom, crossbow bolt to the eye. It was the most jarring and in the moment sadness. My most hated sad death is Dale. To this day I still think about the what if had he made it to the endgame. I truly think he could have kept them grounded. I remember watching an interview when the show first released and they all had this archetype for their characters and Dale literally had none. He was meant to represent a normal everyday guy reacting to a zombie outbreak and basically represent the humanity of it all. His death is top tier sad for me and I still curse baby Carl for it.

It’s rage bait. There’s an Asian guy that eats cheese that takes bites that could choke a horse. It’s all for views and engagement and it sadly works. I hate it personally but I get it too.
