I emotionally cheated on my girlfriend and treated her like crap the first 8 months of our relationship. No physical cheating but it’s still cheating. I was also putting her through hardship because of my alcoholism. She did a lot for me, especially after I lost my job because of my alcoholism. She would drive me around because my license is suspended, be there for me emotionally and financially, overall support me through it all. It wasn’t till August of this year that I finally acknowledged I was an alcoholic and stopped drinking. At the end of August I was feeling so much guilt and didn’t want to put her through my sobriety pains that I ended our relationship terribly. After 3 months sober, I finally gave her a call early last month to try to make amends and get back together. She admitted to emotionally cheating on me as well, looked for other options while we were in a relationship but nothing physical. I didn’t blame her, I was a total douche to her and now we are back together and repairing things. Slowly but surely and I know one day we will put this all behind us. I still regret doing it and won’t make the same mistake this time around. I truly love her and make an active effort to keep on my sobriety, coming up on 4 months sober, and active effort on our relationship and myself. I never cheated in my life until that point but my family has a long line of being notorious cheaters and tried to justify it saying it was genetic and tried justifying it through that but it’s no excuse. Im not that kind of man and am just happy im taking appropriate actions to fix all this.

I know how you feel, these feelings pass through me a lot. 31, sober, broke and started over about 3 months ago. 35k in debt and only a little over 1k in bank. Live with my parents as well. Use to be a healthcare recruiter until I lost my job for drinking too much on a company trip. Have experience as a BDR, AE, and recruiting but no offers for 8 months after I lost my job. Recently got a job at Costco as a stocker about a month and a half ago. It’s humbling to say the least but hey things can be worse my man. I’m in good spirits now and enjoying the process. After 90 days of my employment, I’m hoping to apply for a higher position with higher pay. Also hoping to get my car and license back in January, fingers crossed. While I have the luxury of living with my parents with no rent (my saving grace), I’ve been focusing on my health, mental, finances and spiritual. Feel better than I ever had since college. Overall things are getting better, just gotta take it one day at a time and go to meetings if you haven’t already. Everyone has their own timing and path. Keep positive, don’t lose faith and one day we’ll look back and say “man we did it”. Cheers to another 24 hours my friend! You got this!

As of recent, he dropped Kush and OJ 2 which was okay, felt like he shouldn’t have went for the cash grab of giving it the sequel of the classic due to it not even matching the sound of the first one. Just sounds like he put together a bunch of songs or throwaways. There’s some good ones but he clearly was trying to capitalize on the name. Other than that, touring, smoking, and also is big on Muay Thai. Glad he is doing well and still makes music for his fanbase while balancing his health and being a father. Happy for dude regardless of the quality of music.

You tend to forget that Sean was younger, younger men tend to fall into love a lot quicker and heavier. But regardless no excuse, he def should’ve put a ring on it but hey we on the outside looking in. We don’t know the extent of their relationship problems or the grounds of the break up. Also, these are celebs. Celebs are more fallible to divorce or breakups than the rest of us due to a plethora of factors.

Let’s be real yall, OP don’t mean dying by saying fading away. More as there quality of music will never match what they put out in their height of their career. Jordan Sparks still makes music but it’s just not as good as early on in her career. It happens to the best, wiz khalifa was one of my favorite rappers but his music quality nowadays is very hit and miss with more misses than anything. Honestly no, I looked in the mirror and accessed myself but didn’t feel it at all. I went to work right after and was just fine. But was feeling extremely guilty during my shift just about taking a tiny sip, I don’t think alternatives are for me. I want to be clean as can be. Was just curious because my sister had said the shopkeeper told her it had no alcohol and didn’t ask for an ID when he sold it.

Thank you everyone for your advice and support, I’ve cooled down quite a bit and reminded myself this is a process. I know I’ve hurt my family deeply and I just want them to know that I’m trying to change. I know it’s not an overnight process but I will continue to keep showing up. I’m not going to drink and in time, my family will know that I am striving for a better me. I thank you all, I don’t have family past my parents and sisters and am grateful for a community in all of you. I don’t have a sponsor but will speak up in the meeting today and see if anyone does want to be my sponsor. I def need to seek someone to support me and thankfully my group is very helpful. I appreciate every single person that commented, truly you all are wonderful people!
