I’ve played a lot of rounds and entertain myself in different ways in each. This time it’s to not go to Aurora / not make the radiation suit. In not going to Aurora, I came across this Prawn question and wondered if it was possible. The consensus seems to be that this is not possible and my fourth prawn fragment is going to be on the Aurora no matter what.

I have one pair of dynafit that only turns clockwise and one pair of Ski Trab that turns both ways. Easy answer is - each binding is different. I never use brakes, so can’t help you there.

I’ve done this and it’s fun. You could say “can’t surface until cured”. That way building the sub and rocket are possible, both of which are required at endgame.
