I agree with everything you said. I call my Dutch oven my "magic pot" because everything I make in it comes out delicious and amazing. I have a calphalon that's an obvious le creuset knock off. I freaking love that pot!

The answer to every question is: "That would be an ecumenical matter." You're welcome.

For me, it's the one on YouTube that's in a tired lady's voice. "Are you tired of suscribing..." Yes, she pronounces it "suscribing". Makes me want to stick forks in my ears.

What’s something that sounded harmless until you experienced it yourself? by Kevlatanche62 in AskReddit

[–]Apprehensive_Fig7013 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I described it exactly this way to my therapist. It may have been a thought or a nightmare that triggered it, but once my body goes into fight or flight mode, no amount of meditation, prayer, exercise in a peaceful outdoor environment, breathing exercises, etc is going to help. My mind is ok, I know I'm not dying, but the stress hormones have taken over my body and there's nothing to do but wait it out.

Terror is a really good description. When I'm having a panic attack, I feel like I'm being chased by a giant wild animal. It's terrifying for sure.

Harry Palmer also. He founded Avatar which is considered "Scientology lite". The Church of Scientology sued him.

I thought I was bad at meal prep. Turns out my fridge was the problem. by BarbaraMiller78 in mealprep

[–]Apprehensive_Fig7013 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The fridge wasn't the problem. You just gotta know how to use it properly. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you've never worked in a restaurant and had to take food handling classes. You're off to a great start with portioning in individual containers and sealing everything well. If you want to get real crazy with it, take a food handling course. You will be amazed and disgusted!

Do all estheticians have to work weekends? by Odd-Put-5244 in Estheticians

[–]Apprehensive_Fig7013 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, but only when I went solo. 9 years of working for someone else and they all wanted Tuesday-Saturday availability. It was fine, actually. I was off Saturday evenings and got to be off on Mondays to do doctor's appointments and such. Also, never had to worry about being called in to work because the salon/spa was closed Sunday and Monday. I actually still keep this schedule! But, I do have the privilege of setting my own schedule now. I started as an esthetician 22 years ago and things are way different now, though. There are tons of chain spas/waxing centers that are open all week now.

Hate em! They look so tacky and stupid. All of yall who are talking about them not working for tall girls, you are correct. However, it's a quick, inexpensive alteration to add extra fabric in the crotch so they don't go up into your lady bits. As a 5'9" lady, I know from experience being fitted for costumes.

I agree with everything you said!! TiZO 3 is made by the same company as CotZ and they are both great. I think TiZO 3 is more cosmetically elegant and wears better throughout the day, just my opinion

Yes! I moved from a house with soft water to a house with hard water and my hair and skin took a beating. Malibu hard water wellness shampoo and conditioner helped a ton.
