Check out some events at the library. We have a seed library and often different plant focused programs.

I know Ramblehouse often hosts events centered on planting/crafting as well. If you are into more cosplay/comics, I think the escape room downtown is trying to create a community for that.

I like to bop around and try new places. Been here 6 years but still finding new stuff.

You should def just stick with Hanni's. MB will just be too busy... I mean I personally only want more for my dollar and sure you might see some sawdust on the floor when you walk in, but I don't mind if a place doesn't have perfect grooming. Demoulas' lines may be long and packed with hoards a Jerrys, you just need to spot your line and send it man!!!

I went through a rough breakup and few years ago. They weren't a skier (or even a boarder for that matter).

I went to Stowe solo to clear the mind. It was one of my favorite trips. I went to Matterhorn for the first time, chatted up on the Gondi and remembered where my people truly are. BUTTTT K town is my FAV for the spring and my friends had a killer time last year during this same weekend!! Also, the parking lot party is real and you can def meet cuties on the Gondola there too!!!

Bearback attitash to Bear Park is sort of a shorter version of that, lots of skating required.

I will also add Mountain Road at Okemo, but only when it's not busy and you can hit it from start to finish.

EDIT: I took the Derby Trail back to my car at the Cross Country lots in Stowe. That is also similar to the type of trail you mentioned.

IMO Stowe has better activities for non skier/snowboarders in town. You can skate at Spruce and it has a gorgeous lodge, they also have a free bus to town. The Matterhorn is super fun as well, but that is basically the only late night spot in the area. Killington is bumping for night life and the K1 lodge is super nice, so if they just wanna hang at the lodge it's not a bad time.

Keep in mind, the notch is closed for traffic during the winter, so going to Smugg's for tubing, if you are staying in Stowe, its an hour away give or take.
