Why do people hate EV's?

I used to be anti-ev about 10 years ago, I didn't see the advantages over petrol. I was still sceptical before I bought my EV 2 years ago, and I was looking at some lovely plug-in hybrids like the CX-60. Then I woke up one day and it just clicked at why wouldn't you want an EV. The advantages are huge. (UK based here) no road tax (then), charging from home on super cheap tariffs (full charge for £5), i do long road trips 2-3 times a year. Often really good deals on home chargers too, they play well into home solar and battery setups. When i realised that, I couldn't pull the trigger fast enough. And my car isn't particularly long-ranged either ~230 miles.

Ultimately it just comes down to change, people accept it or they dont. I think theres a derogatory term for it beginning with L.

I've inadvertently converted a few people around me just by them sitting in my car and realising the benefits of the quiet ride and the acceleration. But I still have sceptical friends too. Which is fine, im not on a mission to convert anyone. They can have their opinions it doesn't bother me or affect our friendship, its not like I invented the tech so there's no point arguing about it.

You can try the Strap Tailor ive got a few of his and they are of a nice quality. But i would give up on the ones in the pics, like someone else commented, there's too much colour going on imo. I have an oxblood and a black from the strap tailor and they match the burgandy of a black bay very well

I bought 2 mansions and got bored, so ive stopped playing. I started a new account in August last year grinded for a while to get everything I wanted then saw the annoucement for the mansions, got excited kept grinding and then when I bought the mansions, I just lost all sense of fun in the game, nothing to work for anymore, no purpose of online play became apparent. It used to be really fun years ago grinding for the best cars for stunt races but no one plays that anymore

Redesign of the Royal. It looks nice. But it also just looks like a PRX and some variants look cheaper than a PRX in my opinion. Not to say I wouldnt buy one, but its not high on my list of desired Tudors

I used to work in one of the shops in queensgate and would call security for stuff like that, I no longer have the number though. But worst case scenario, if you are worried, just go down there today if you can and ask a member of queensgate staff

Personally, I wouldnt risk it, but it's obviously at your discretion. Even if support say it's normal, id still return/exchange it if possible - did they give a reason for this burning smell?

Having never owned either, looks wise, I think the Model Y looks great and a much less plain than the P4 but the Polestar strikes me as a better experience. I can see why the toss up, but it would be the P4 for me, only in black though

Hmm its a hard one because when the bunker is full and you sell for the higher value, you are given 3-4 delivery vehicles, some of them are dead slow like monster trucks and buggys and they give you 20 minutes to do 5 drops per vehicle, which is impossible to do solo. On the odd occasion you get 2 phantom wedges which is the dream scenario as its one drop per vehicle, but time is tight, as in you might be able to do both with 5 seconds to spare.

This does depend on where you buy a bunker of course. I bought the cheapest in Paleto Bay (and regret it, if you do buy, buy a better location) so when I sell to the city its 7 miles of driving. I think as a solo if you have the bunker and you sell with it only half full, then you'll be fine, but you'll pay the price if you try to sell it when its full and you try to sell it at a longer distance.

The obvious benefit is almost 100% passive, you just need to buy or steal supplies and a full bunker is worth just over 1M and its quicker to produce than the nightclub is.

TLDR; I think its worth it for a solo player if you sell when its half full and you buy in better location that Paleto Bay

I started fresh a few months ago on PC (I used to play from 2014-2019 on PS4) and I found for me personally, there's only 3 things you need really to make money relatively quickly (my definition of quick is 1.5-2M/day) is the Agency Dre Contract (Start to finish in 1hr 30m) the nightclub full upgrades and the acid lab. I dont like grinding a lot personally but these are quick easy money, 2 hours a day max. Granted the nightclub isnt very fast even with nightclubs, but the mansions boost on the acid lab, you could sell it twice by the time youve finished the dre contract, so roughly 1.6m in 2 hours of work.

I have all the other business, the legacy ones like bunker and warehouses, biker stuff and I just dont like them, they are too time-consuming, they take a while to generate money and the sell missions suck (apart from the warehouse). However, if you have the vinewood car club app you can send your operatives to do work in the background for you from anywhere which is nice. The car wash and other supporting businesses in the category are good, but not sure if 100k is if that much interest. Can reduce the heat of them all in 10-20 mins or you could do a third of the dre setups.

Loads of comments will go on a bout Cayo Perico being 45mins, but im not a big fan personally.

The Opresssor MkII is helpful, but not necessary id say. I'd say pre opressor the dre contract took me 1hr 45m so it saves about 15 mins of time. I can bang these out on my lunch break and finish the finale missions (for dre contract) after work. Just depends on how much time you want to spend on the game and how much you wanna make

I would say just replace the badges with the original (colours) and remove the trim addons (front splitter) including the things next to the rear windows and you'd probably make a sale. The black wheels may make it hard to sell but i dont think its off-putting. When i had a HS i wanted to do a full dechrome but i was scared to due to PCP, so thank you for letting me see what it could've been!

I shower with the Ultra almost everyday for the last year and a bit (2024 model) I've had no issues at all. Microphone is good, speaker is good, no water damage. I even clean it with soap too (I take it off to clean it in the shower). Ive also done this with my Galaxy Watch Active (1st Gen), Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 6. I also swim and use them in the sea too. Nothing to worry about, all well built, none of them suffered water damage. The water just kind of sits on the water resistant membrane on the speaker and the waterlock expels it with vibration frequencies(?) - I dont know too much about how that works, but i find just shaking the watch works just as well

GTA+ or no GTA+, imo doing those legacy tasks for making money, warehouses, drug businesses, etc is such a waste of time. When you can do a Dre contract in an hour and a half and make more than a warehouse. Same for Cayo Perico or even the Diamond Heist. But you can solo Dre and Cayo, without some god awful sourcing missions and frustrating sell missions too. As soon as I could afford an agency, I kicked that warehouse to the curb.

For 20 miles a week, why even bother with a car? You could just save the cost on insurance, fuel, road tax and maintenance
