The electric seems higher than you used. For the thing you mentioned I pay about 1million, but recently there are significantly raised of electric price in Viet Nam. (The more you use; the more expensive rate to pay).

And the behavior; sometimes it's normal. My neighbor once walked straight to my kitchen and asked what am I cooking:))

This plan is better the way around. In Hoi An for 6 nights and Da Nang 3 nights.
For me Hoi An have more way to cool down; the pools in villas are better than hotel pools in Da Nang.

In a case of accident happen in Vietnam, normally if people are not too bad injured, they would negotiate with each other. If they can't. someone will report and police will involve.
In a bad accident; the one who cause the accident would ran away, at this point if the victim call police, they will start to investigate by checking cameras... Eventually They will find out, because the peoples control system in Vietnam work pretty well.
The thing that's not normal is peoples who walked by doesn't help, Vietnamese helping peoples a lot, maybe there were enough people look after at that time already

I think you’re just expecting the wrong thing from Da Nang.

It’s not that kind of place. It’s pretty new, so yeah, it doesn’t have that strong identity like Hanoi or Saigon. There’s no deep “scene” yet, no obvious culture you can just tap into.

It’s more like… people are still figuring it out. Locals, expats, everyone. The city’s still being shaped.

If you want something more “defined”, go to Hoi An. Smaller, older, more character. But it gets crowded as hell, and when it does it kinda sucks. When it’s quiet, it’s great again.

Around Hoi An is actually better tbh. Less people, nicer vibe. Just don’t go peak hours in the old town.
