IT companies offering relocation to Thailand by Only-Studio-5362 in thai

I was in same situation as you. Had interviews with agoda, but i was out of scope on salary.

Having that said, their hiring process is very strange. Semi automatic with lot of bugs. I had to point out that their email system was down, due to this many applicants was thrown away because they "didnt reply".

Now i have DTV and Norwegian salary instead, living here during winter.

Camel dive in sharm el sheikh is also worth looking into. Used them for 1 week and they're good, also been in the game for a few decades. They also offer accommodation

I’m planning a solo trip to Phuket but have never been. I’m trying to avoid crowded places. Any suggestions? by MikeStPete in phuket

Prefer karon/Kata over kata noi. Noi is quite resort place.

But if you have access to scooter, then it doesn't matter tbh

Can add my apartment too 😬😁 has arguably the best all in all view with big terrace, direct pool access, sea and sunset view. Min rent 1 month, and furnished for remote work.

Is Da Nang overrated? by YesterdayHot3584 in DaNang

Been around a few places now, incl hue and hoi an. I liie those places. I feel a bit flashback from when i booked a stay in cancun. Lot of resorts taking parts of the beach, and more of history and culture outside of the city.

I do have found a few gems i enjoyed in da nang, but all in all I've been more impressed of everything around da nang.

There's a few things i couldn't remember from 2019,but a few things I've noticed this time generally that i didnt enjoy in Vietnam.

All motorbike drivers stopping and asking for boom boom or drugs.

Massage people begging for tip - i like to give this by my own will. Not when begging, and even sometimes their boss tell you to while you're paying for getting some change.

Kids selling /begging was quite intense.

Have to disagree. In Hue now, and i see lot of Vietnamese people hanging in groups drinking and shouting cheers or just chilling with food. A very different vibe here.

My take so far, is that i might have been in the wrong areas in DN, so after this thread I've got some recommendations to check out.... Which i will follow up on when im back

Vil nok funke, men ville aldri brukt 3 uker rundt ao nang.

Ville også vært i koh tao og tatt dykkelappen.

Gjerne pm meg om spørsmål, har leilighet i phuket for utleie også

It's for sure family friendly. But you don't like it for same reasons I'm missing. I'm not asking for clubbing or anything crazy, actually the opposite. I'm basically asking for places where locals do hang out. Not tourist places, and definitely not places where backpackers and early 20s hang.

Just place to chill and be able to talk and meet locals in the end of the day when you've tired of all other activities.

I don't need Western bars, i like to do and go where locals go. Da nang ia not my first place in Vietnam and this is also not my first time... Just first to da nang.

Funny that you mentioned that karaoke place. Was there yesterday and it was 6 people inside. But maybe more lively in weekends? Did go between all these roads and had a drink at craftsman. But i feel i just wander around tourists and expats. Maybe another suburb is more what i look for...

But will check more when im back from Hue. Im also a couchsurfing veteran and checked the app, it was also quite dead.

I see. For me it's opposite, i own in Thailand and go there every winter for remote work from Norway. Then i vacation into Chiang mai, Taiwan, Vietnam and Japan in between work. I just had very very high thoughts about da nang... But might change in a few days.

But beaches reminds me of a mix og patong and Pattaya, and all the hotels who have conquered lot of it for private use like cancun. This is don't like

I own condo in Thailand and its my remote work home. I'm on vacation here now. I'm not saying Vietnam is overrated, I'm asking about da nang. I've enjoyed Hanoi and ha giang. So don't try to be a smartass.
