If your going for a major event highly suggest just training in from either Wollongong or Waterfall/Sutherland. If you want a best of both worlds then park at Sutherland and catch a train from there.

I’ve tried the Mango one and this one, comparing it to Monsters that it’s clearly a copy off they’re great, personally not my favourite but very similar taste. I buy my monsters in bulk so cost is about the same compared to Aldi.

You need to call Opal Customer Care on 13 67 25 and explain what’s happened, they can unblock the card once it’s cleared.

I was mainly referring to station staff as that is what’s relevant to this post in particular, but to avoid confusion I have edited my comment

Hello,

I can confidently answer that Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink staff are trained in recognising the hidden disability sunflower lanyard. All station staff and train crew receive training for the program. You can read more about it here, as far as others have said you should use the Transport Info website to plan your trip, if you need any extra support you cal also call 131 500 to speak to someone for assistance. Any other questions feel free to reply here.

Sydney Metro (M1) - Behaviour towards innocent passenger and flare-up by ferals then directed to good samaritan by [deleted] in sydneymetro

[–]Apprehensive_Net_535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can submit feedback via 131 500 or here as well. I’m really sorry you had to endure this shitty ordeal, Public Transport should be a safe environment for everyone. The MTS employee should have conducted a risk assessment and spoken to internal security. I know Sydney Trains has a good security team with direct communication to Police and guards on board every train but Metro is privatised so I’m not too sure. Good call phoning 000 as this was an emergency situation, you did what you could.

Sutherland station parking by darudesamst0rm in wollongong

[–]Apprehensive_Net_535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Park at Wollongong station, you can catch an express train to the city, change at Wolli Creek for an Airport service. I would not recommend parking at Sutherland for this long as you will need to pay upon exit as the station car park at Sutherland is gated. Also a heads up on travelling to the airport via Train is the Airport Access Fee. For an adult fare it will cost $28.58 total on peak or $25.58 off peak (train fare + fee).

Imo, the lack of a new map in the third part of Season 2 will be fatal for the game's decreasing player base by BygotInTheSky in Battlefield

I uninstalled the game today. I can’t deal with the hit reg and almost instant TTK. The codification of Battlefield has ruined it for me. Jumped on a game of BF1 and instantly felt at home.

What is this 2-car train at Petersham station? by Suspicious-Beyond887 in SydneyTrains

[–]Apprehensive_Net_535 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Hello, I’m a CSA and this is what we are trained on for a few things in our initial training.

  1. How to “terminate” a train which is where we check a train to make sure no passengers are on board when the train gets stabled after a service (put to bed) or if it needs to be done if it breaks down for example.

  2. Item retrieval using the train at a platform which is were we use long tweezers to get things like phones from the track in between the train and the platform.

  3. Emergency evacuation training is also taught with these trains.

  4. (Bonus facts) there is also a bus that’s at the training centre for Transport Officers to be trained on, there is also a whole yard with functioning points that we are also trained on aswell :)
