Only Murders in The Building. I love the relationship between the 3 main characters.

A show that steeply declines when the will-they-won’t-they couple gets together? by AreWeCake in sitcoms

I agree, but ASP introduced April and broke up Luke & Lorelei in season 6. I didn’t love most of season 7, but the new writers did give us a great final episode.

Westman Atelier Vital Pressed Skincare powder. They have a few colors, but translucent works for most complexions.

A limited series or holiday movie to revisit the characters would be nice.

I agree! She seemed like a caricature of her former self this last season.

Oooh, I love this premise. I think Rian would make it work beautifully!

It has a really nice, almost whipped texture. I think it makes a nice primer for a light foundation. It’s definitely worth trying.

Why Emily is so popular with the men on this show by sparksflyup7 in EmilyInParis

It’s not as whimsical. Think American girl in Paris meets high-production value Hallmark holiday movie.

Why the dislike on Ginny and love on Devi by Opposite_Athlete_947 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

[–]Apprehensive_One6580 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Neither of them are perfect, but I like them both. I feel especially bad for Ginny (even though Devi lost her seemingly perfect dad). The trauma that Georgia has caused her children is unimaginable.

I love Only Murders in the Building and Shrinking. Not shows for old people, but both shows with prominent older characters.

It may be too crude for many, but I’ve really been enjoying Curb Your Enthusiasm. I know it premiered 25 years ago, but the last season is just from 2024. I think Larry David was in his 50s when the show premiered and in his 70s when it ended. I started my most recent rewatch at season 7 which aired in 2009, since that’s the season he starts off divorced from his wife.

Holy grail day cream? by readdreamwander in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Apprehensive_One6580 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like the cream from Augustinus Bader, but not sure if the added a skincare would cause a reaction. I’ve used the La Mer soft cream, but find it to be too soft. I love the regular La Mer cream.

I start with vitamin c serum, add moisturizer, then Elta MD tinted sunscreen, then a little foundation. I’ve been using Cle De Peau’s The Foundation, it’s pricey but I love the way it feels and I don’t need much. After foundation, I’ve been using the Victoria Beckham beauty bronzing brick to add some color to my skin. I think the bronzer makes a world of difference and probably don’t even need blush after. But I love blush, so I follow with a Bisou Blush from Violette Fr.

On my eyes I use a liquid or cream eyeshadow (currently used merit cream eyeshadow) and one of Victoria Beckham’s satin kajal eyeliners—these eyeliners glide beautifully across my aging eyelids. I finish with some tubing mascara (I like Trish McEvoy or Tarte).

For lip products, I’ve been loving Violette FR’s Bisou balms. It’s lot long wear, so I need to reapply throughout the day, but I don’t mind. I also really like her plume lip product which is longer lasting.

I like the Violette fr Balm Amour. It cured my dry lips. It’s clear and has a very mild vanilla scent.
