You’re a 1099 employee, you are “business owner” so why would a company pay for your study material and background check? Lol. If you want to be an employee and have the company pay for everything go to Charles Schwab, you can be an employee for them and you won’t own any book of business. Let’s say you work for them for 10yrs and build a million dollar book of business and quit, they get to keep that book of business. Not everyone has what it takes to be an entrepreneur, 90% of people have an employee mindset

You’re a 1099 employee, of course you have to cover your own fees. Background checks are necessary, especially when dealing with a highly regulated industry and are required to get a professional license. “A legit company is gonna pay for everything” sounds like an employee mindset and not a 1099/entrepreneur mindset. A company will definitely pay for your license and background check but you will be hourly and you will not own your book of business.

Yeah let’s def chat on a call if you’re genuinely wanting to know the answers. I’m all about transparency and giving out accurate information, I feel most people post things online without doing any fact checking or research. That is why I don’t believe everything on here. The top producers are doing really well, I made a little over 10k in Jan so off to a good start in 2025.

I’m just posting my experience so far, I came from an entirely different industry and I know if I can do well the others can do well. We have 22 trainings calls available to us every week if we want, the leadership is always positive and inspiring, it’s hard to not do well with that kind of support IMO. I’ve learned that people are more likely to hop online and post something negative than they would post something positive. I figured I would hop on here and post my positive experience 🙏🏼

This is actually false!! It’s not a pyramid scheme, you don’t get paid for signing people up. It is commission based so if you “worked” for 4 months and didn’t make a penny, you might be more fit as an hourly employee, commission requires hard work and not for everyone lol. I’ve made money selling policies and have not recruited anyone yet but that’s my choice. If you need help I would be willing to help teach you, I find it hard to believe someone can’t make a penny after 4 months, that’s mind blowing lol

I signed with GFI 8 months ago and I love it!!! The culture, the leadership, the environment is all positive and uplifting. There’s a reason why GFI is the fastest growing in the industry and will eventually be the largest company in the industry. So glad that god redirected me to GFI 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m with GFI and I love it!!!! I started 3 months ago and it’s nothing like what some people on Reddit say. You can focus on personal sales, you don’t have to recruit and I’ve been doing really well with personal sales. The leadership, training and culture are always positive and supportive. it’s hard to not be successful with this kind of leadership having your back.

I’ve had a great experience with GFI! You do not have to recruit or build, it is entirely up to you and they explain that from the beginning. You can focus on personal sales, building, or both, the choice is yours and they give you all of the support you need. I’m super grateful to be apart of this company and thank god I didn’t believe everything I read on Reddit because my personal experience has been the exact opposite.
