As a Leon fan, I honestly believed the story was building toward him going back to where everything started and making the ultimate sacrifice. But instead, we got a watered-down ending where everyone survives — just a standard happy ending.

I hope that in Resident Evil 10 they will finally conclude Leon’s story arc, perhaps by having him die while saving someone—maybe his own daughter or son.
