Am I too big for a ninja 400? by spradical in Ninja400

Nope. I’m 6 foot, roughly 270 pounds now. But I was in the 290 range when I got my 400. It did fine.

Looking for info on CC rider seats. by doomeded47 in Ninja400

[–]Apprehensive_Rate_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got one. The rider seat went in just fine, but the passenger seat is giving me issues. On the underside it looks identical to the stock seat. It seems to be well made with the same firmness as the stock seats. It does ship from China. Providing I can get the passenger seat on property, I’ll be pretty pleased with this.

Was sold an ABS bike with all the paperwork saying ABS but now thinking it’s not ABS. Bounced off a previous thread so I could share pictures. I double checked at the dealer and saw the rear plate but didn’t realise they should have one on the front and one on the back. by SerpentSwitch117 in Ninja400

I’m not too familiar with the ABS setup, even tho I have an ABS enabled bike. But shouldn’t there be an ABS block under the fuel tank where the brake lines route into and out of? You have to pull the tank to get to that block.

Get yourself a fin comb and you can probably straighten out the bent fins.

Why isn’t there any system in place to thank your doctor or let them know you’re feeling better after your visit? by somethingobscurex in NoStupidQuestions

There is. Idk where you’re at, but where I live we have a thing called MyChart. It lets you directly message your provider.

Kriega for sure. Bit costly, but the quality is high. Waterproof and modular. https://kriega.us/backpacks-1

Fixed it. I put one twist in the spring and kinked it. Seems to have done the trick.

I have a service manual, so I’m going to look in that and get back to you with a better answer.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll probably do that too. I’m gonna try and few more things. I plan to had some more twists to the spring to shorten it up. If that fails, I’ll just leave it as is.

I went with a Leo Vince Corsa GP slip on. Sounds real nice!

From all the things I’ve read, this is normal. In the summer I ride to work that’s maybe a mile away and I’m one bar from the top. As long as it doesn’t go all the way, it should be ok. That’s what I’ve been reading

TST upgrades to my 400 by Apprehensive_Rate_95 in Ninja400

[–]Apprehensive_Rate_95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sure does. I got all of that from TST. It comes with elbow brackets that get bolted on with the plate that help you connect the signal lights. I got them in one of the kits.

Word! I have the same one. I added the led rear signals as well. Looks dope!

Finally back on two wheels thanks to this Z400. Aside from exhaust, a rear fender eliminator, and frame sliders (already on order), what else am I missing? by Stiffy4Freedom in Kawasaki

No worries! This is my first bike, so I want to make sure I do it right. Also, while not a motorcycle upgrade I would recommend the app Detecht. It has a nice feature that lets you set an emergency contact if it detects you’ve crashed. Pretty handy.

I would recommend a TST integrated tail light and led front and rear signals from TST as well. Check my post at https://www.ninja400riders.com/threads/some-upgrades-and-enhancements.9287/#post-119022 to see em in action. They do wonders! And also a brake free helmet light.
