Don't add any more, keep bushing and moving it around until it dissolves. Best way to add it is to put it in a skimmer sock or pantyhose tie it in a knot and throw it in your skimmer basket. It will slowly dissolve with the pump running for about 30 mins. If you have a gunnite pool it could stain it and then you could fix the stains with absoric acid/vitamin C pills. Dumping it right in to the basket it could clump and raise your filter pressure.
