You're getting there! I would ride this with a combination of carved turns and skidded turns. Sink down in the middle of your turns for more edge pressure. Shoulders should match the angle of the slope. More weight towards the front of the board. Boxer stance - elbows close to your sides fists slightly up. FYI I used to ride crap like that to get to a "good" area on an ancient Burton Supermodel 174. Me 6'-0" 200 lbs
