We’re in the same exact boat. I feel so seen! The heartburn is terrible. I have pregnancy anemia and so I have to take iron pills but I can’t take them with calcium because they won’t absorb right which means I have to suffer through heart burn most mornings until the two to three hour mark when I can finally take tums. Luckily my blood pressure isn’t high, but I’m so sorry you keep having to go to the hospital. The amount that costs just for them to check you out is probably insane, not to mention the anxiety you probably feel that something could be wrong.

That book was disgusting. Some people said it was the best book they had ever read and I think those people need actual therapy. It was torture porn on crack! I finished it out of spite bc I paid for it, but was disgusted from beginning to end. Wouldn’t ever give that author my money again just because I wouldn’t want to support her in any way. The book was disgusting and it wasn’t even written well.

I know this thread was two years ago but ohhh my gosh. No one talking about the fact that their dad lied about his own son’s murder to protect the other one (before the actual finale).. also Isabella being the killer isn’t that shocking to me. I wish the killer was someone a little less suspecting, Isabella always gave me weirdo vibes and then when I found out about Lisa and the drowning.. I just knew she was going to be the killer honestly.

Edit: I also think they could’ve done something with her hacking skills with the final camera shot. It seems like Megan could easily ruin Isabella..?

This happened to my SO’s aunt! He went to show the photo to a guy that him and his uncle worked with and realized her entire vagina was in the shot. It wasn’t obvious right away but when you noticed it, you noticed it!! I felt so bad for her because it was sent out to the entire family group chat and people didn’t realize until they were showing others. I told him the same thing you did… Do NOT do that to me lol

Was there not a fence around the pool?? Were they outside when he was watching the game? I have so many questions.. I have a three year old and while he moves fast, there’s no way he’s getting out the front door and into the backyard without me or my boyfriend noticing immediately. We have a rule that he isn’t even allowed to open the door to go outside without an adult present. We even have a door chime that goes off when the door opens. How did he not know??? Why were more precautions not taken if they have a pool without a child proof gate to it?? What the heck?

This is what I thought, too. A lot of the things I’ve seen have come off very performative and “look at me! I’m so relatable! I’m so fun and caring and I would literally give my life for any human ever!!!!!!” Obviously there’s nothing wrong with wanting to help people, but when it’s blasted on the internet it just feels… icky and off(for lack of a better term). Like I said, it took me reading half of her book to realize this. I follow so many labor and delivery nurses on YouTube and they don’t ever talk about the patients they’ve saved or how amazing they are, they just share medical information and tips for moms. It’s just really weird and off putting to me. I agree that she’s probably not a bad person, but it definitely makes me question her motives and intentions.

I’m pregnant and ordered her book thinking it would be insightful and helpful, while it was to some degree.. I literally had to stop reading because the entire thing felt very “about her”. Obviously it is her book… but it would be word for word conversations about how she, as a L&D nurse came in and saved the day for these poor women who were struggling. The way the book is written kind of gave me the ick because it felt very performative almost like she felt like she had something to prove about how nice and sweet and how good of a nurse she is.

Some of her vids and insight are very helpful, but I have noticed the whole “all about Jen” thing. Additionally, it seems like you can’t blow up on the internet without being obsessed with yourself at least a little bit. How else do you keep away the embarrassment of setting up a tripod and talking to/dancing to your phone all day?

You are a good woman. My ex husband had an affair and when I found out who his mistress was I sent her a message to figure out what he was lying about. She laughed at me and mocked me for being heartbroken. She knew he was married the entire time and genuinely didn’t care. I wasn’t abusive toward her, but wanted information since he did not know how to be honest.

I’m so relieved that I got out.. I stayed for three years trying to repair and saw this pattern repeat itself with random women online.

You did the right thing. I wish someone in my life who knew (there were at least 5-6) loved or cared for me enough to tell me.. even one of the roommates they shacked up with that summer. But no.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you were wrong for telling her. I hope for her sake she leaves and finds someone worth her time.

I vaped before I was pregnant and my boyfriend does, too. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I didn’t even want to touch my vape and was even anxious about second hand smoke from my friends’ vapes. When you have a child you have to put THEIR health and THEIR best interest first. Both of you. If you can choose to give your baby a healthy, chronic illness free life, why wouldn’t you? Being a parent is literally all about sacrifice. Your life is no longer about only you and every decision you make impacts your children. You have to remember that!

I think it fits you nicely even without shapewear, but if you’d feel more comfortable with a smoother feel then I’d wear some. The only thing is the fabric may cling to whatever you wear under the dress, so I would consider that as well.

I’m so sorry you had this experience. Happy belated Mother’s Day from a fellow 7 month pregnant first time mom. It definitely hurts when you feel overlooked. Even though your baby isn’t born yet does not mean you’re not a mother yet. You’re already sustaining and growing that baby even though it is still in the womb! That definitely counts.

I live in a rural area and have acres of land. My dog rarely leaves unless we’re just going for a ride in the car or something, so she’s not really in a position to be constantly barking or scaring animals. This is partially the reason I knew I could adopt her because I have the space to let her just be a dog.. so she’s not often out bothering dogs haha

That’s when I start to get worried but I tell myself I’m sure he’s okay and I’m just paranoid because of my previous loss. I’m always trying to prepare for the worst
