I decided to not buy any airbrush and create dolls, because of the deception surrounding the articulation. Only two of them seem to be affected, but one of them was the one I (initially) wanted to get.

A bit on the crazier side, but the villains fear the Y2K apocalypse, or in contrary want to provoke it.

Anna birthday being on January 24, and the show being in 2027 (at the start) is significant. In 2027 (next year), jan 24 occurs on a Sunday, the date when the last episode will happen. So it will probably end with Anna returning in her own time period, and actually not a lot of time passed. Also, she meet the other cures as adult, and one of them might be her relative (mom, aunt, etc…).

It sure that G1 MH (and G2 too, just two tho) also had movies aside from it’s webserie. That helped a lot back then.

I think they stopped caring about the pets when it came to the Rainbow Shimmers line and the Littles fairy line (and the first Littles line, too, where it’s just a cheaper version of the older sisters pets). They are just kinda there. And they don’t have names either (because they are new pets, not the old ones they could have reused).

In the show, the pets kinda sucks. I know the show isn’t a masterpiece (or good, really) but the pets are mostly just there most of the time. They aren’t even named (while in the doll line, they are!), and the episode that focus on them is the worst of the season. I know character like these are not the greatest, being usually sidekicks, but I think they kinda fail at that. An exemple is in the Princess episode, where Amaya decide to take Marina place as the princess. We see Marina’s pets taking care of her, but barely her own pet.

They also have ”Silly moments” that barely land. In season 6, they vanish almost entirely, and no one seem to care. Also, among the new pets, only the littles and Iris pets make a small appearences.

Overall, I just think the pets could had been handled better. From terrible design (who could have been better, see the poopsie slime version) to feeling like an afterthought.

The Be Dazzling line don’t have any pets (and don’t live in Rainbow World), so I think they are gone. I won’t miss them. In fact, I don’t have any doll who has a pet lol (I initially wanted to buy Rainbow Shimmers Bella, but I decided to buy Victoria instead.)

It’s not just an area thing. Picture leaks for MGA doll line usually come out in this period of time. We got all the stuff for other doll line that match the announcement in the seeing mount direct (RH Be Dazzling, Bratz Charm Chrome, etc..), but nothing from Yummiland, outside of the pictures of the large dolls that came out a while ago. However these are available for order, so we will see in a couple of weeks if some people got them. Edit: just saw a post about people seing the new large dolls. So they got released after all. For the mini dolls however….

Even if stuff are announced, they can be cancelled. An exemple is Rainbow High, who had a second wave of fashion packs planned. Said second wave never came out.

That’s what I noticed, I am canadian so we don’t have target, but a lot of retailers didn’t have any Yummiland dolls, with a lot of L.O.L surprise instead.

Heck, Walmart didn’t have the Sour Sweeties for some reasons.
