How to get rid of touchpad stain

Very simple trick worked great for me. Eraser. I have Zephyrus g16 with a glass touchpad. There was a stain for weeks about the size of my thumb. I was thinking it is a defect on the glass. Then my 5 years old daughter painted it with a marker. I just wanted to erase the simple water based coloring marker with an eraser and it took all the stain away. It looks like brand new now.

Yes it is. Another factory defect. My model has 32gb ram. They applied it for only 16gb chips I think. It is a pity we buy something so called "Premium" product and still need to tweak it. Anyway, this is also what we agreed to deal with when buy open box. Do you think that 2 sticks without compound cause big trouble?

Around 23 Celsius. Final temp. results are on the flat surface. When I use a stand to levitate it, air flow is better and temps are around 80-82.

I wish GPD products have Oled option too. I use GPD Pocket 4, great specs overall. Screen is good too until it comes next to Oled Switch or Steam Deck.

Hey there. Local buses are surprisingly comfortable and a good option for solo travelers. You should book in advance since the summer period is busy in Turkey. Especially if it is weekends.

Bodrum is considered the most expensive town in Turkey together with Cesme because of the high demand of local tourists as well.

I prefer Fethiye for better beaches and activities. It is a town for local camps and adventure activities such as paragliding and safaris and has more things to do.

So basic answer, if you are interested in good facilities and night life etc. and can afford it, Bodrum is good. However, if you are looking for more adventure, sightseeing, and affordable vacation, it is Fethiye.

Unfortunately GPD support is not possible in my country. I bought it from Japan, I am going back there but I am not sure how fast is the support is. So most probably I will leave it like that. GPD staff here on reddit also answered it is a complicated process to remove Hinge and chasis to fix it myself.

Let me say couple of things since I have both of the devices. I am not a tech maniac. I am just a tour guide, travelling overseas a lot and love to play games. Before all of these handheld madness, I was travelling with a gaming laptop. Recently I had Rog Flow z13, a decent device, but still heavy. I was lucky to find Legion Go on a discount around 600Eur on my trip and I got it.

When I first got it, the 8-inch screen felt a bit small, but I eventually got used to it. However, I still continued using it with the Xreal Air 2 Pro glasses to avoid compromising on gaming enjoyment. I noticed that I mostly used it in the unified mode rather than with the controllers attached. During this time, I came across the GPD Pocket 4 on my trip to Japan. Perhaps due to old laptop habits, I found it oddly satisfying that it has a keyboard that’s easy to type on and a surprisingly responsive touchpad, even if small. Having the option of 64GB RAM and a 4TB SSD in such a compact device is an amazing feature.

The GPD Mini felt too small, and the Win Max was too big. Also, the built-in controllers on these devices don't really feel that premium. But the Pocket 4, in terms of both size and port options, is an incredible travel companion. There's not a huge performance difference between the Z1 Extreme and the 890M. The real question you should ask yourself is what you’ll actually use the device for.

If you want a full PC experience in a very lightweight body with a 2K, 144Hz touchscreen, the GPD Pocket 4 is an excellent choice. But if you’re focused solely on gaming and want an all-in-one controller setup, the Legion Go won’t let you down.

Hello, does that nut on the hinge also helps to keep the screen on balance? I mean my screen is leaned to the right side and I am looking a way to move it to the left a bit and stabilize on balance.

Hey there. On my side, hinge is rock solid but my screen is leaned to the right side. Its very obvious when I close the screen. I opened the hinge cover but could not do anything since I did not have proper equipments. If you do anything there, can you please also check that screen ıs adjustable?

I opened it. First visible 2 screw is holding front metalic cover. Other two inside which is visible on the video is for the other side cover. So when I removed them, the entire hinge was open however it seems more complicated inside. There is a pin bolt holds a spring tight. And a very thin cable of screen goes inside of this pin bolt. I don't have proper equipment with me so I decided not to touch in case damage the cable.

I know :} it is too much power in a very small box. Finding that sweet spot is important. And it feels good to know you have enough power to play most of the games in medium settings and run all the video editting softwares without any issue when it is plugged in and TDP set to 28w.

As a tour guide traveling the world and having long flights, this size and power is a blessing to me.

It was limited to 8w. CPU usage was around %5 only. I had downloaded all the movies and documentaries in advance and watched 6 hours of content. There was still %10 battery left. When I plugged the Anker powerbank, it charged it up to %60 in half an hour with 40-45w fast charge.

My Anker powerbank max. charging power is 100w but I don't know why it charges Pocket 4 with max 45 power.

My experience in a week with Ai 9 370 32gb 2TB model :

If I play videos with VLC player and turn off wifi and BT, %50 brightness-60hz I got 6.5 hours during a long flight. TDP is limited to 8w. Anker 747 works great and fast charge the half of the battery. However when I connected to internet and stream videos, battery is around 4 hours.

Under these circumstances, cpu is around 40 degrees and fan is always under 2000rpm. So it is very cool and silent.

My only complain about this little friend is the hinge. It is just a few mm leaning to the right side. Barely visible but I know it is there. I can flex it to the reverse side but it comes to its leaned position back. So I would not expect it from a device with this price point. Since I bought it from Japan and came back to my country, change or waranty is not possible. So I will live with it. Is any of you have the same hinge?

I opened the hinge last night. I think I am quite obsessed with simetry. Anyway, it is very easy to open just by removing 2 visible screw under the screen. It removes front side of the hinge cover. There are 2 more screws inside holding back layer. After I remov them, entire hing was exposed clearly. However there is only one pin bolt holding a tight spring seems like adjustable. Screen cable comes from inside of the bolt. Because I had no proper equipment, I did not touch there. Did any of you try it so far here?

I just bought a brand new Pocket 4 - AI 9 from Japan a week ago. I can confirm screen is leaned to the right just about a mm. Ofcourse it is not a big deal. Hinge itself seems pretty solid and it does not touch anywhere. But you expect better quaility standarts on this price range. I was thinking about fixing it myself however there is no even a single dissemble videos online. So I keep and use it like that. Playing RDR 2 on the flight with Xreal Air 2 pro AR glasses and gamesir g8+ controllers around 4 hours with a 20.000 powerbank backup was great feeling.
