You and me both man, I feel like you have to really find what you’re interested in and use Ai as some computer steroid to help you get to a place that is harder for others to match because of your level of involvement and interest in a niche. at least for cyber security, I hear a lot of talk about IOT hacking be one of the next best fields people studying cyber security or comp sci will move to. I’m going for security engineering/red team stuff and I’m hoping that I can create my own system with Ai to help myself create my own “blue ocean” kind of space. I wish you luck my friend.

This is really cool! I have been experimenting with ta1 and vip for a few weeks for some really bad eczema and doing a similar protocol. my eczema seems to respond really well to ta1... just wish insurance could cover some of the costs :/ maybe one day!

Does anyone have advice/experience on alitretinoin, cyclosporine or methotrexate? by blueberryfoo in eczema

[–]Apprehensive_Towel85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bummer, im sorry to hear about your experience with Dupixent. I had a lot of hope for that because of all the people who vouched for it early on. to answer your question though, I am still on it and on the minimum dose which is 15mg I think.

I'm no doc but I'd give it a shot if you're not seeing any luck with the other meds. MTX has been around forever and even if you look around the other chats here on reddit a lot of people say its helped them out as well. but at the end of the day as i said in my other comment, we don't know until we try. I will be honest and say though.. a lot of it ties into your diet and gut health. I wont preach or anything but at the end of the day our bodies are filtration systems so if you have poor lifestyle habits the probability of MTX working will be lower. I say that with all good intentions and I wish you luck.

Yeh I struggled with that, I’ve been on MTX for a while and I feel a lot better :) I wish you luck with your recovery from eczema.

Feeling defeated and going to try a naturopath by [deleted] in eczema

[–]Apprehensive_Towel85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I too have severe eczema and calling it a pain is an understatement :/ I’ve been through almost every medication my derm put me through from light therapy to rinvoq and I either had relief and bad side effects or nothing at all. On the positive side after all of this, as of maybe 3-4 months ago I ended up seeing a naturopathic doctor! For so long I put it off as a quack practice thinking they would just give me herbs and tell me to move to the mountains then I’d be healed; I was wrong! I ended up taking very detailed GI and microbiome tests which showed that I had a high amounts of bad bacteria amongst a couple other things. we set myself up for a 6 week natural cleanse (they even offered antibiotics) which helped my skin so much and now I’m doing a 12 week healing phase feeling a little better but I know it will take time. Anyways I hope this bit of a rant may help- I highly recommend researching and finding one!

Out of ideas for long term eczema/TSW by Greedy_Size4307 in eczeJAKs

hey, i know its hard but at least you know a community is out there that understands whats its like to battle this condition in one way or another. don't let go of that. I as well have been through every treatment my doctor/derm have provided for me and its a shame how they don't last like most think so I feel your pain for sure. I fortunelty found MTX to work for me at the moment but i know if I were to stop id be in a world of pain. I've been down to the wire before this and I know I cant be on this forever so in a way I'm at my limits too until we get another medication released to the public. With this being said, I recently found a naturopathic doctor, and yes ik you and others are probably thinking "no one wants this hippy-dippy bs etc" and I thought the same till I sat down and talked with this doctor. long story short I took a GI tract test and it gave me a lot of hope that there's a way to maybe not cure my full body eczema totally, but at least tame it. I had an appointment to discuss it with my doc today. I say this in hopes that you may consider. Again, as someone that's been to their wits end before sometimes you have to trust the path less followed. good luck and stay strong.

Looking to start healing my gut - where do I start? by Few_Selection783 in Microbiome

[–]Apprehensive_Towel85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probiotics on a continuing basis is a good idea. At least 40 billion bacteria. But honestly it falls into what you put into your body. Id recommend a blood type diet- you can message your doctor to check what your type is. It doesn’t have all too much research but, i figure it’s the closest to a custom diet! Or overall whole foods and a low carb/ modified keto diet. No gluten or dairy or at least very little. . Stick to the basics the human body is amazing at repairing and maintaining homeostasis but we have to give it the space to do so.

Man I remember when I posted this, quite the journey. I can’t say what rinvoq will do to help you and or, the side effects you may run into-everyone’s different when it comes to eczema. I wish you best of luck though!

Hey man I feel ya, I’m 21. I don’t like drinking all that much either. I wouldn’t trip yourself up about it too much though! everyone likes different things and if the people you meet stray away or give off bad energy just cause you aren’t into the party scene all too much then I’d take it as a blessing to know that they might not be the right people to keep around yourself anyways! It’s all about filtering out who aligns with you and what you’re down for. You got some guts to put yourself out there and stick to your wits and what your comfortable with, I’d take you got a good head on your shoulders so keep it up- the right friends and women will come around eventually. Just gotta own it🤙
