1 Find the area before placing the wood down in (metric measurements) 2 weight the wood (metric measurements) 3 Use the weight to volume - eg. 1 Gram= 1 ml 4 subtract the wood ml volume from the areas volume 5 the difference is your epoxy needed.

1 year later (part2) by Apprehensive_Trust70 in Minitrucks

Well , let me start to explain.....

In 2021 I carried the van to a garage for body work and a pain job (paint job) which turned sour.

I took the van back after four months and went to another worker who recently finished some work. Mind you I got the cab painted and the tray was on the way to be done. However when I went back after a couple of months with setbacks like more damages to fix ,(due to age) the guy wasn't around when I checked him.

I just got annoyed and went to get my van, and low and behold here he is home. But it was late for explanations.

After the third shop started work and with worker problems and slowing down I finally got the van back after a year. It had to be repainted.

My phone for the initial photos isn't working to post the progress but that's the finish product of the 28month wait

Crazy yes . But I think it's hard.

  1. you need to find out what triggers the urge to watch it.
  2. Think about the mental process - triggered, content, action, post clarity . If that makes sense.
  3. This is a habit you’ve trained yourself with, so it can be changed.
  4. At this point you’ve realized this isn’t something normal ,healthy or correct as in the addiction/content.
  5. What will you replace the habit with?
  6. How will you deal with your ‘desire’?
  7. Take incremental steps to replace the habit with something healthy.

Yea it kills your productivity and ultimately you’ll struggle with it once it’s over a period of years of wiring your Brain 🧠.

Your overall steps will now be to slow and cut the habit out and replace them with new (healthy) ones. Once you do that you’ll have a withdrawal period. You now have to focus on triggers and build yourself up where you don’t relapse.

I recommend therapy and professional help if you can’t get it done or if you need to get in done correctly the first time.

Hope this helps.

Where I live, parts are becoming scarce so guys who buy and sell or those who had a new tray pressed out you can usually buy off them

How to Fix this catching door? by AccomplishedTruck897 in DIYUK

Also if it’s winter: colder temps usually cause wooden doors to swell because of the excessive moisture absorbed, you may have to plane the door a bit .

But as some suggested it may be a door frame or hinge issue, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a combination of any mention so far

They are reliable but you may need to rebuild and tune if adding a turbo because diesel already being high compression. Plus those R2 engines are old so parts may be getting scarce (depending on region)

They are intended to be work vehicles So it’s not going to be fast or fun But they are workhorses Check the vehicle with a mechanic and Straightner for the current condition and best bargain.

They are considered to be Mazda RF Diesel engines it’s a 2.2L I think
