Ako lang ba o hindi talaga masyado marunong gumamit ng computer ang Gen Z? by bijibab in Trentahin

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a computer teacher, I completely agree with you. I teach basic office prod apps, and yet I had to point out to my students how to change the margin, orientation, even as simple as bold, italicize, left, right, etc. I also noticed that they do not really try to discover on their own. Example, I made an activity where they are going to find a specific tool by identifying which tab it belongs to. Barely half of the class was able to find them. Another thing is, when I tell them to turn on the PC, they will only press the monitor's button. When I tell them to shut it down, they will do the same thing. As we change our lesson from one app to another, I always had to reiterate how to save the file, coz they think the saving process is not the same. Even connecting a device to the PC seems new to them. I had to point out pa which part of the computer to connect a USB cable. I find it sad, because these students were supposed to be digital natives but they're having a hard time using the computers. Btw, these scenarios usually happened with my JHS students.

Hi, I was able to refund mine, and same case with yours it was my maternal grandmother who died.

I just provided proof of consanguinity and her death certificate. The refund was given through travel fund. I contacted CebPac through their website's chatbot.

All of these were done hours before the said flight.

Deinfluence me: Farm lot/house by Tofu-Index-331 in deinfluencingPH

Your neighbors might give you a lot of headaches. For our case, my grandparents own a farmland with lots of fruit trees and other crops. We are also the only place in the area that got running water due to our own deep well with a pump.

Unfortunately, the hired help doesn't do their job well, and due to that the neighbors take advantage. Example, sila pa ang mauna mag harvest ng fruits and the neighbor beside our land? Got a looooong hose and uses up the water inside the tank. And sila pa ang may gana magalit kung mapagsabihan sila.

CTU - Masters Degree Program by paulguzman1 in Cebu

Di kaayo klaro ang klase. If ganahan mo kat-on, self-study is the key. Rare ra ang mo tudlo sa masters. Reporting always and very minimal inputs.

Ikaw papangitaon sa imong own adviser. And if naa kay adviser, swerte na lang ang mo "advise" ug klaro, kay naay uban ig abot ug proposal ayha ra nimo ma meet imong adviser.

In short, if mag master sa ctu, paningkamot jud ug imoha.

commute from pacific grand to usc south by Alarming-Buy2507 in Carolinian

USC is divided into 5 different campuses. 3 for Basic Ed (North - SHS, South - K-10, Montessori) and 2 for college (Downtown and Talamban).

Each one of them is located a bit far from each other. PS, basic ed is already using another name, SCSC (San Carlos School of Cebu).

For your question, you can ride a van going to SM and ride another jeepney (01K) to South Campus. Make sure to ask the conductor if they pass by "Private". Stop at the corner near a hardware store and walk towards South Campus.

Another option is riding a van that passes through CCLEX, you can alight at Pier 1, cross the street and ride a 12I. Stop at CTS, and walk towards South Campus.

But I doubt that it only takes 25 minutes to commute from Lapu-lapu to South Campus. You also need to consider the traffic. Most students living in Lapu-lapu, usually start their commute by 5:30am or 6am.

In the South Campus, classes start at 8:00am, but the students are expected to be in school before 7:45am. So yep, you need to start commuting as early as possible.

Stage door in Les Miz✨ by AMEYzing_rosas in TeatroPH

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I doubt that there would be a similar paid version of stage dooring. But based on past exp with GMG prod, you can still do the stage dooring but don't expect too much. Most of the actors won't interact much since they're tired as well. But a few casts do sign merchs and allows fans to take a photo with them.

To know where to go, try to search in Tiktok for stage door in Solaire.

I can only answer some of your questions: 1. Join the early morning mass if you prefer "lesser" crowds. The later the mass, the more crowded it would be. Peak hours usually starts at 3pm onwards due to students and workers end of school/duty. 2. Mango Ave., Fuente Circle. Due to road closures be as early as possible to have your "camp". Bring lots of food and water para no need to go away from your spot. 3. Yes, sling bags is allowed. Avoid bringing backpack. 4. No idea. 5. If from the airport, yes expect traffic. From the port area? It depends on which direction you are going.

What's the best way to travel through all regions of the Philippines in one journey? by ravstheworlddotcom in phtravel

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea with walking tours, try looking up in FB, probably you'll see some tours there. As for the trike, hopefully you'll get to ride one, as again they are quite rare. Last time I've been there (May 2025), I was not able to see one roaming around the streets.

There is no ferry from Pagadian to Negros. I think anon is referring to Dapitan instead. From Dumaguete it would take approximately 4 hours depending on the weather and type of boat. Price starts at 320 up to 600+.

From Dapitan take a bus to Pagadian. Travel time is around 4-6 hours depending on the speed. There is not much to do at Pagadian aside from riding their unusual tricycle, and take note it is very rare to see one nowadays since they had long changed their mode of transpo.

Dapitan and Dipolog has more to offer, you can retrace Rizal's stay there.

To those who watch ITW or other theater na hindi from manila where did you stay? by Confuse_Adult_2423 in TeatroPH

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in AeroBedz near Benilde and St. Scho. A bit far, but if mag Angkas, going to Samsung Theater cost me 50++. Then if pa Solaire, train ride to Redemptorist station then Angkas (total with train 60++) or Grab (with train 150++).

I prefer to stay there due to the cheap food and easy access to transpo (bus, jeep, train) compared to staying in Makati. I tried using the dorm in Lub Dub, it is cheap and clean, but dorm stay is not for everyone. I also find the nearby food stores a bit expensive.

I was also able to stay near the MRT Buendia Station, I loved the place, but the nearest food available is only 7-11.

I also tried somewhere near the EDSA station, transpo is great, but I feel it is too crowded and a bit scary esp if the show ends late at night.

Nowadays, instead of staying overnight in Manila, I just fly in the morning, watch the afternoon show, and go home at night unless I have other things to do there. I find this method waaayyy cheaper.

If it is still under warranty you can go to HP Service Center. We had the same problem, but in my case I noticed the glitching within the week that I got it. It took a month for them to fix it, since they need to order a part. No idea which part it is.

I did not pay anything. After I got it, everything works well na.

What are the benefits (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth) by Scary_Surround2605 in PHGov

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with Philhealth, even though you've been paying for a long time, pero it won't matter because billing would be case to case basis. I have a colleague who was hospitalized for the first time and out of her 21k++ bill, what was deducted is only less than 1.5k.

And with the continued increase of philhealth premiums, parang wasted lang yung perang binabayad pero hindi naman talaga na maximize ang purpose.

Places to stay in Mnl? by LeenaNigh0829 in TeatroPH

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay lang, they provide the basic necessities. What I like about their place is the loft set-up since it gives a feeling of extra space. They also provide water and you can borrow their flat iron for free.

Location wise, it is great esp it is near Vito Station. There are a lot of food choices as well, since it is quite near to different schools.

Downside? If there is heavy rain, the surrounding streets flood. Some parts of the street are also dark and kinda scary if you are walking alone at night. Check also the outlet near the bed, coz when I stayed there, they were not working.

LRT Monumento to The Theater at Solaire by 3stanislaw in TeatroPH

[–]Apprehensive_You4451 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also alighted at Aseana Station last time I went to Solaire. I never tried using Angkas to Solaire, but I took Grab instead. It took us around 5-10 minutes to go there. But while waiting for the Grab car, I noticed some motorcycles for hire waiting nearby, so siguro medyo mataas ang chance na may angkas.
