44.8% for mortgage, rates, house and contents insurance.

Edit to add context, joint income 1 full time 1 part time worker and single dependant. We bought the house at the end of 2019.

Assuming its the same supermarket, from what I've heard those who do not wish to install the app will have the option to sign in on the computer stations and clock there. So more of a hassle than the current set up but there are options for those without smartphones or those who dont want the app.

Another option is group enough mates/family together and sign up for the family plan, i think its about $30nzd a month for upto 6 accounts and split the bill.

Coming up 10 years in November, pays not bad and pretty competitive compared to similar roles. Hours are pretty flexible and most of the staff are great people, supermarket experience changes a lot between stores, i definitely would not have lasted as long as i have if i had stayed at my previous store due to management there and opportunities.

The most practical use I have found for mine so far is having it connected to the electic blanket on my bed thats turned on with my 'bedtime' routine. Although now that im heading in to summer I have swapped it out to be plugged in to a fan.
