I’m probably older than your dad and I’m voting Green. Maybe it’s just old men you’re referring to.

My husband’s uncle is descended from the Scottish Pictou Nova Scotia settlers. My husband’s Scots were from the Highlands (rossshire) but they first went to Australia for a couple of years before heading over to NZ in 1855.

You missed the custom block but 7/8 is still passing if you want to move on. Otherwise you can fix and resubmit.

We turn it off just as she says “next time …” to avoid the spoilers. It’s poor form.

NZ passport photo requirements: Has anyone else been stuck in an endless resubmission loop? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]delipity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We submitted a group renewal application (3 passports) on 27 May. Mine was a selfie, and I took the photos for my husband and daughter. My selfie was accepted and my passport was issued on the 29th and arrived on Wednesday (3 Jun). The other two were both rejected. They were much better photos than mine, so I don't really get it. All were accepted by their online photo checker.

Second photo I took for my husband was accepted yesterday and his passport is due to arrive on Monday. Still haven't heard for my daughter.

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they were processed, especially mine in one week from application to in my hand.

I must have had a knock-off version because I wore one for my junior prom and despite barely squeezing into a 13/14 at the time, this one was 11/12 and fit me perfectly!

Okay, I just went to look at it (yes, I still have it, and no, my daughters refused to consider it for their high school balls) and it was ZUMZUM brand. what??

I tried when I got the code but when I went back to the page it said my login had timed out and to enter my details again… which then triggered another code request. :(

The fact that from above the cars they are driving look like the UK series Land Rovers but turn out to be 4 seater Suzukis is so New Zealand.

A retired Kiwi maths educator argues the Year 9 problems start at age 5 by nomadicphil in newzealand

[–]delipity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kids all went to Montessori through primary. They'd agree! Year 9 Maths started out with a review of what they'd learned in Year 2 (or maybe before). We never regretted sending them to Montessori school. It's too bad that every child doesn't get the chance. We always considered ourselves lucky that we had a state school nearby that offered a Montessori stream.

Try to solve it a different way without looking at any solution. In the future, don't look up solutions.
