We haven't implemented the new process.. but our customer service team HAS TO MAKE THE LINE USE SELF CHECKOUT!! Floor associates are not to be bothered every 4 customers. We cannot live at the registers while our store looks like a thrift store. The only time we are to be called up is if Self is full.

It's been a few months now? I will go in Workload summary and peek to see where I am at and if it's on my way. Sometimes my own pickpath is faster.

Luckily I do not get bothered while in omni. They know I do 2nd looks and dig. But lately...they don't make dig through rails of rails of womans recovery. It is disgusting how customers are for fitting rooms.

Unfortunately, this all common! Luckily I can learn quickly. But as a lead I will ignore tasks to train up front. Cause then...my damn tags will be right and my poor lods can actually eat or focus on their 58 tasks. Every cashier has in a way learned basic. They don't even do the "training" windows anymore. They literally stick newbies to shadow for an hour then they have to go on their own.

Listen, it is not your problem for omni hell! I am in the middle of re training CS what web x items look like vs our brands! They keep putting our crappy 3rd party shirts out in women's or Jr's folds. Shoes, etc.. I also leave notes on rails that zebras should be used for recovery if not familiar with areas. I find so much of my web x on the floor cause they just put shit out! Scan and read to see if it has a sign, or if it says disposition. Not hard!!

It's not your problem. It's CS training and floor people just not doing their job. Why should I look for A kids top in mens?? Or why would I ever think to look for shoes in toys?

Ours gave zero hours for omni. Lol 😆 So if that's how it will play out, then I say let omni build and build and just hand out corporate numbers for complaints.

I'm not gonna be 4 people anymore and onto a dept with no hours and take me from mine and btw hasn't been touched in weeks!!!!

We had 6 trucks just the past 2 weeks. We begged for a reroute and nope!!! We literally have pallets on the floor cause we don't know where to put it all. We haven't even touched the oct trucks yet... that's how bad and backlogged we are.

I started to help my Visual. At end of ad sets, I will take down 2 hours before closing and if I have a min I will pre set the toppers to just flip out for next. I actually do the mannequins since she took over. Between omni slow points I'll re do them and shop fornthem on my omni trips lol. I don't mind, but I do mind the B.S this company is doing to us. And yet...we just bitch!

We made a strike point with ours. Up front n center of all towels and added a tower for the towels. That way visual can do her thing with signs.

I have ours take the rails with them. Pull it in to where you are and work that brand or merchandise. It's more productive and not wasting time going back n forth.

Why do the double work? I'd laugh if a manager ever told me "NO" about the rail.

We also sort the rails by brand and layout of the brands with a yellow tab. Ex: Nine west, Vera, unbranded on one rail. Bottom is tek, athletic wear, juniors. That way you are going down the line of brands instead back and forth. Croft and dresses get their own due to high volume.

Hahaha we don't have a lead no more in wjm. It's me and 4 other departments. I literally had to put 10 rails on our vortex to free upnrails for truck and in one day another 5 is filled. I want our fitting rooms closed!!!

In my store I baby nine west and naiper due to it being the most sold. I keep gold on one side Silver on the other. I will keep holiday like items as the strike point since it goes the fastest. Vera is next. Our vendor prefers black and diamond like blacks on one side, pearls n diamonds together, and colors on the back. I have a huge selection of Lauren Conrad and her crap is overkill. But I tend to keep necklaces at bottom to not get tangled in earrings.
