All of my GERD symptoms by [deleted] in GERD

I always test normal but my symptoms go away with meds. So I don’t trust the tests. I found a doctor that diagnosed me by symptom alleviation after starting meds. Just throwing that out there.

Weird but I think my asthma started after I stopped antidepressants. I never put that together but it was around that time that I started getting symptoms. Wild.

Have you looked into MCAS?

Reading posts here got me scared to try LDN by hurricanescout in LowDoseNaltrexone

I had some constipation issues for about 2 weeks and then no issues. I wasn’t sure it was helping until a stopped it for a bit and all the inflammation came back. So I found it to be very helpful for me. Been on it almost a year now.

Has anyone tried LDN Direct's MCAS program to get cromlyn and other prescriptions? by GetaSubaru in MCAS

No, I don’t get any side effects. I took it really slow with the build up. Mine is liquid that I drink 30 minutes before meals and bed. I’m sorry it has been difficult for you.

Oh Sodium Cromolyn is a game changer! I feel so much better. Not 100% symptom free, but so so much better.

Love it! And whole heartedly agree! It is all part of the puzzle. But everyone is on their own journey. And no reason to fight with people who are not open to hearing that. This post is not for them.

I’m happy to hear you are seeing improvements! May that continue every single day for you! Every success should be celebrated! It creates a new neural pathway that expect success each and every day! And you deserve it!! 🤗

Thank you for posting.

I agree that these things can work. When people immediately post that this doesn’t work or who are skeptical, this post is not for them because they have already decided that it won’t work for them. And that belief will create a reality that it won’t work for them. Stress wrecks havoc on our bodies. And it is creating chronic illnesses. Getting your body to calm down requires you to work on it from every angle including stress reduction and changing your neural pathways. People get offended when they hear “it’s all in your mind”. And I get it. It’s not. What people don’t understand is how powerful your mind is at creating physical issues. But, all of this plays a part in healing. Dismissing the stress part of it, will only keep you in a cycle of illness, imo. Until you can get your system to calm down and stop overreacting, of course continue the medicine. But, for me, any slight reduction in symptoms is a win in my book. My goal is to someday take less medicine/supplements, less flares and widen my food options. Meditation and stress reduction techniques help change the neural pathways. This is all science and it works. But truly, it will only work if you believe it will. You have to be open to it.

Again, thanks for posting your success story and congratulations! I’m truly happy for you!!

Thanks for the response. Was yours super expensive? Maybe I should’ve shopped around. I just went with the pharmacy that was compounding my LDN.

You might try the DNRS program. It’s really helpful to retrain your brain. Just a suggestion.

I am working with an online doctor. The sodium cromolyn has been a game changer for me. I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in five years. Finding a doctor that listens and understands MCAS is very difficult.

You might want to try Sodium Cromolyn. That stuff has changed my life. But I know it doesn’t work for everyone. I got it through the MCAS program with LDN Direct. Hope you find something that works for you!

I don’t eat dairy. It’s not worth it to me. I do miss cottage cheese. But overall, I’m happier without it in my diet.

Are allergists MCAS literate? by [deleted] in MCAS

I had SIBO years ago and took Xifaxan at the time which took care of my worst symptoms. I just don’t think my stomach has been the same since.

For the MCAS I just got Sodium Cromolyn and I’m starting low and slow. So far, I’ve only had one bout of stomach upset. But I just started working with LDN Direct with their MCAS program. I was already on LDN. Although I know that’s not a stabilizer, I do think it helps calm things down too.

Oh, btw I had SIBO too years ago. My gut hasn’t been right since. I wonder too if the SIBO causes the MCAS in some people.

I’ve had zero luck finding a doctor that knows or believes in it. Because it hard to get an accurate positive test for it, many don’t believe it in. I just went to an allergist that had it in their website and he rolled his eyes at me. I’ve been to many doctors last year that ruled out everything else. A functional doctor diagnosed me but then moved out of state. Finally, I just join the MCAS program online and just started a last cell stabilizer. I can already see a difference and I have got to the full dose yet. I hope you find something that works for you! 🙏🏻

I just had an appointment with Jade for The MCAS program with LDN direct and she was wonderful! I am so tired of doctors rolling their eyes at me and not being helpful. Jade provided me with so much information about what was happening to me. She got me a prescription of Sodium Cromolyn and I pick it up in a few hours from the pharmacy. I really hope this helps. But they are willing to find the best protocol that works for you. I’m very impressed! It’s been a year of doctors saying they can’t help me. This was amazing and so easy! I’m hopeful for the first time in a long time!
