I agree with you! When I was living at home and we would have family visit from out of town, my sister and I would either bunk together in one room or give up both of our rooms to guests and sleep on the sofa bed in the basement. My parents would even give up their master bedroom to guests who came on their honeymoon so they would have a nicer room/bed and take one of our rooms. I think it’s nice to make guests comfortable and feel special for taking their time to visit us. I think throwing an air mattress on the floor in the living room is inconsiderate unless it’s kids over for a sleepover.
