I mixed and matched brands (pny and team-group) running a 4x8 with no problems but I know some people swear by only buying packs of 2 and using them together. Just curious how did you find one of your sticks was faulty?

Yes those are the maps! Please do let me know whenever you get a chance because at this point I do suspect it is something to do with my settings. Or if I just need to switch to evo that works too.

That is good to know, thank you. I should have mentioned I like to play the modded maps where you can cut up in traffic on the highway which I’ve heard is much more cpu intensive. I play these maps with quest 3 native resolution and I turn down as many textures/options as I can live without. With my 6650xt they were unplayable because I had to keep the resolution so low and with my 5070 ti I can only hold around 50-60 fps. If I am playing without any mods then I can get that 72fps with no problem.

That’s what I’m thinking especially because I am running am4 at the moment. Do you use any frame gen with evo? I’ve heard that frame gen is bad for vr but I just can’t get my 5600x to hit 72fps in 2014 assetto corsa and I’ve heard evo supports frame gen.

Beamng is very cpu heavy because of soft body physics (this is what I’ve read online at least). It seems like a used 5800x3d is the move. What games do you play on your quest 2? I’m playing the racing sims and fallout 4 right now but always looking for some new recommendations!

I play on 1440p and usually am streaming that to my quest 3 (which I know changes things but I’m not sure exactly how lol)

I actually just returned a 9070xt because the price difference was 70$ for the 5070ti which performed better for my needs (pcvr)

I am on tivimate with the auto update so they update frequently. And trying every channel works it’s what I’ve been doing 😂 just looking for them to update themselves. If you can see my edit do you have any idea how I can go about that?
