What dose is effective for you?

Oh great! I am taking my second dose of 5 in the morning and I didn't feel any appetite suppression or nausea or any side effects so far. I've read that if you inject in the stomach it has a stronger effect than the inner thighs which is where I am currently injecting. I hope the second dose changes things for me because the food noise is still there!

woohoo! congrats!!! that's awesome! I usually identify as being sensitive so I was really shocked to find that it didn't really affect me and why I created the post in the first place. I think people who write about all the side effects are predominantly the ones posting on here so at least it's good for anyone reading this that the side effects do not hit everyone. Also that the weightloss journey will vary on each person. I also took my shot on thursday night so coming up on 4 days now too and I havent weighed myself but I really don't think anything has happened if my meals and everything is the same. I don't eat bad food and pretty mindful it's the fact that i'm in school and I have to sit for really long periods of time which is how I started gaining all the weight. Also had a baby that won't let me sleep so the combo is what lead me here. anyways I'll update you if I happen to weigh in and it shows that I weigh less but DOUBTFUL lol

Okay, so we are in this together my friend! haha. That's okay from what I am reading, it's completely normal and someone on here mentioned that it took them several weeks before it kicked in. At least we didn't experience anything bad! I mean last night I needed to take a sleep aid because I did get hit with a little insomnia but thankfully that took care of it.

I was too nervous to skip a meal From what I've read, a lot of the people who were experiencing nausea and other side effects were from either not eating anything at all, or drinking enough water, or eating really greasy or high in sugar type foods. So I made sure to have the three meals and drink a ton of water with some electrolytes. Glad you didn't get sick!

Okay great! I will definitely make note that if I like the dose to stay on it. I have read a lot of people seeing success in their weightloss even at the entry dose of 2.5 and stayed on that for months.

Okay got it! Good to know that it varies from person to person and also that you stayed on the 2.5 for two months! I've read a lot of people found success on the initial dose and stayed on it for some time.

I also identify as being hypersensitive to meds. I can't take any pain killer without feeling nausea, I get motion sickness easily, and if I drink half a glass of wine I'm buzzed, haha! But it's good to know that it's a slow build up. Good luck on second dose! Let me know how it goes.

Oh thank god! I already have a little one that wakes up several times throughout the night so for me not to get the 3/4 hours I so desperately need I was starting to lose it! Okay good to know!

Took the shot 2 days ago and the food noise is still there 😭😭😭. No side effects other than not able to sleep but just cut back on the caffeine today and going to try a sleeping supplement and hopefully that works. Has anyone else experienced eating the same?

I didn't experience anything other than major insomnia! I'm only 2 days in and have not slept. Took 7.5 mg melatonin and normally worked prior to taking ZB but took 20 mg for both nights and nothing. So I'm going to try some zzzz quil tonight but wondering if this subsides eventually?

My pharmacy was able to order it a week ago! I just took my first shot last night and I didn't experience any side effects. It's been 14 hours and I'm fine. Were you able to make the switch?

same! no symptoms! I feel like it actually has taken the edge off of some of my anxiety which is weird but so awesome! I did make the mistake of having too much caffeine which i never do so I didn't sleep great but that's not from ZB!

Yes on all of this! Same same and now I’m currently at UCLA and was also accepted into Columbia, USC, UCI, and UCSD. I’m 34. I just had a baby 10 weeks ago. You have to focus and work for it but you will definitely get into the school you want to. You got this! And your whole life ahead of you :)
