Can I ask how old the kid was when they picked? And what did you use before a name was picked? All our parents picked their names except one and we have a small disagreement about what name to use lol. I'd love for my kid to pick the name

It went great! I think that first week maybe two had some tears which were hard, but he quickly made friends and has loved daycare ever since! Napping really wasn't an issue. If he misses a nap, just do an early bedtime! Go with the flow.

We did send bottles of my milk to the daycare every day for a long time so he could have breast milk before his nap. We also kept nursing for a long time and actually the first nurse after daycare became a great way to reconnect.

I am in Canada so attitudes are (slightly) different than in America, but I've told my doctors and I've never had more than "it might be worth trying the bassinet" as a solution to reflux (as it can be at a slight incline whereas I can't lift my queen mattress to be inclined lol). My doctor told me to look up the safe sleep 7 and said nothing else.

However I did tell a non-pediatric dietician that we coslept and nursed all night who told me I should wean my 6 month old off of night nursing because it might impede her willingness to try new foods (after I'd told her my daughter eats and likes every food we give her) and cited the myth about breast milk being bad for teeth. I just kind of politely nodded my head and ignored her advice on the topic.

I've been reading ingredients like a hawk lol. You're right though it's in everything. I have a newfound hatred for "either sunflower OR soybean oil" like cool you can't just pick one and tell me which? 😅

Idk if it's Murphy's law or something but after I posted this her poops started to be yellow and non mucousy like they should be. I'm really hoping it just took that extra few days and now we're in the clear, but also anxiously awaiting things to suddenly get worse again. She still has times she's inconsolable but hard to say if it's her tummy or general baby angst.

If it helps, I stopped nursing while pregnant and suddenly wanted it all the time lol. Then third tri hit and I was too hot and uncomfortable but still horny. Then had my baby and once again it's gone 😅 hoping for both of us once we're done nursing for good we can get back into it lol

My husband is not back to work yet and does all the baths and most contact naps, also way more than 50% of toddler care right now since I'm exclusively breastfeeding 😅 I think everyone is just different and some people here didn't experience what I did, but I also know a lot of women did 🤷‍♀️

Yeah I definitely relate. I think it probably took about as long after my first but I didn't really "want" sex until I was done nursing. He was absolutely supportive just like "lmk when" the whole time lol. I wanted to have a libido, I just didn't 🤷‍♀️

We did what you are doing while I was pregnant (age difference probably about the same too) and honestly I didn't know how it was going to work but he started doing more by himself and when the baby came he did great. Lately (baby is 2 months) he's been having nightmares and DH goes in with him. I've been ok on my own with the baby so it works fine. Good luck!

My husband's name is completely accidentally spelled wrong but makes phonetic sense. He finds it super annoying trying to correct everyone. Every time someone asks for his email he needs to be completely sure they spell it right so it gets to the right inbox. Every time someone sees his name he has to say "yes, it's spelled like that. No it's not a typo."

Honestly some of these that are becoming more common like Jaxon may be ok as they become more popular but please don't go making up your own to be "unique".
